At 1:10, does he land on a fence lined with spikes?
  2. I can get pictures up tomorrow, but you could well be right there. I bought a double wheeled tensioner that is probably too long for my size of sprocket but it still provides half decent chain-wrap. I regret buying that tensioner, it was a bugger to fit in the first place. Cheers.
  3. I've recently fitted a chain tensioner but the chain still occasionally jumps. Is it possible to put the chain under too much tension? Everything seems aligned ok. Cheers.
  4. I got this one, it's fairly cheap: Onza Tensile Brake Booster
  5. Don't normally like this type of music but 9 minutes in and.....it's genius. Perfect to test my lovely new headphones.
  6. No doubt someone at tarty can help you. It depends on the width of the booster, however i'm guessing it wouldn't fit as it doesn't have any width leeway at the bolt holes.
  7. Try this; Start menu - All Programs - Startup - Then remove any shortcuts that you don't want starting up as windows starts.
  8. Kinda makes me want to be back in the Highlands. Do you still ride moto? Whereabouts are the Scottish championships held?
  9. Yeah I noticed just the other day how much the frame flexes so I've got a booster on order. Should help a lot.

    F1

I don't care who does it, but I want someone to challenge Red Bull and S.Vettel. Purely to make the end of the season a bit more interesting and uncertain.
  11. I never thought otherwise. He's dominance in F1 is very schumacher-esque. Obviously I wish the Brits were doing better but Vettel is at least a decent guy. Good personality for a pretty serious sport. Also, nissan pixo?!!?!? Since when did Top Gear review sensible cars?

Oops, didn't check that. Well i'm cool if a moderator wants to remove this thread, can't argue with the guidelines.

    Other Forums

It would be interesting to know what other forums people on here visit. Personally, the only other forum I frequently visit is the Lackadaisycats forum. The link is to the Lackadaisycats website. It's a 'comic' that is fantastically entertaining to read, and the art is incredible. Don't be put off by first impressions, I don't normally like comics but this one is different. So, go ahead and spread the word of your favorite forums.
  15. Could potentially make it to a Glasgow ride, I'll need to improve my riding though!
  16. I can feel it when I move my wrist too but the pain is in the hand, like a strained ligament or tendon perhaps. Having to hold the rear brakes so hard is likely to be part of the cause, maybe that is something I will get used to soon. The levers feel like they are in the correct position but I might as well play around with that, and I think I might move the bars back slightly and see if there's a difference. Cheers.
  17. That was impressive, you move around faster than i'm used to seeing.
  18. That may be an idea, might do a quick swap with my jump bike's bars. There must be a reason for the slope upwards though...
  19. Not sure what bars they are to be honest, just the stock ones on a phase 1.1. I'll have to do just that I guess.
  20. So it seems the only part of my body that hasn't got used to trials yet is my left hand. After every single ride it has this painful twinge that hurts for a good few hours. One thing I noticed when I started was that the bike's bars slope up slightly towards the ends, this puts extra pressure on the outer sides of my hands. I assume it is normal for bars to slope up like this? It feels awkward anyway. I am wondering if anyone here had the same issue when starting out? And are there any ways to help it? Should I try turn my bars round a bit to change the angle slightly? It may go away after another few weeks riding but it could also get worse, just very annoying at the moment. Also, is there an optimal angle to have the bars at or is that completely down to preference? I've been thinking the curve up in the bars should be around the same angle as the forks, if that makes any sense.
  21. I wouldn't get that one, 4 bolt ones will be a lot better. I need one too but they are so expensive...
  22. Sadly not, only really started trials about 3 weeks ago. Now I wish I'd started years ago.
  23. I like the use of the big tyres, wouldn't mind some of them to mess around on. It's fun trying to recognise all the Inverness locations you guys ride, wish I still lived up that way.
  24. Not sure if I should ask this here but i'll go ahead. I am a bit surprised at the 22T:18T gearing that you guys suggest. I still have gears (not for long) on my MAD phase and tend to use the 15T sprocket for everything. Can anyone give me the reasons for using an 18T sprocket? Edit: Is it also generally best to go for the longer option on sprung tensioners?
