  1. Not much to see here, I'm just documenting my progress. Must be around 7 weeks now since I started trials riding. Ha, all my pedal-ups to back wheel look so incredibly small now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qjEJvgIIpE&feature=player_detailpage Still no sound, phone records in a strange format that Movie Maker doesn't like.

    Barrow Farm

Loving the unicycle, really makes me want one.
  3. Oh, and little kids too. Absolutely terrifying creatures.

    Films!?

Repo Men, awesome if you like brutality and watching people get cut open.
  5. Used to hate heights too but rock climbing amongst other activities have helped me pretty much overcome this fear. Depending on the circumstances I also don't like water, I've had few scary moments. One where my leg got stuck in a capsized kayak, I don't think I've ever been so terrified for my life.

    Art

Just some drawings I did a few months ago. They are characters from the webcomic Lackadaisycats. Link to my DA I'd like to draw more frequently but I just don't know what...suggestions? I tried and failed at drawing cars but might give it a second chance.
  7. There were pages on facebook, which is probably a pretty good place to gather up people for a riot. I'm pretty sure those pages have since been removed, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if something still happened.
  8. I hope you don't ride your trials bike to work!? You'd be hard pressed to outrun a gang with those silly gear ratios. Good luck anyway.
  9. How many engagement points has that got?
  10. Not just the rest of the UK, we're pretty much a laughing stock to the rest of the world now.
  11. Makes me sick. Now some idiots have planned riots for Glasgow and Edinburgh for absolutely no reason. I don't even know where to begin on this topic! Angry Pete is angry.
  12. Any appliances that have this double insulated symbol do not need earthed: Your items sound like they'd all be double insulated.
  13. Hard decision, I could really do with a better hub too. EDIT: You were right! Thanks man. Now I feel kinda stupid but hey.
  14. Why not. Danny MacAskill had something to do with it. Other than that, almost two years ago I moved from a little village with many hills and mountains around, to a town with barely any countryside. So I slowly moved from mountain biking to trials. Glad I did, but my wallet is now an anorexic.
  15. Took a closer look, the whole wheel looks to be slightly over to the left. Bad frame design or something. Any other solutions? A less important issue, this time the front brake. The brake seems to work fine but I can't understand how this necking in the cable is possible? Shouldn't there be a sort of nipple like the one that the other cable is on? It just seems to have disappeared... Anyone feel like giving me a new bike?
  16. Nice one, thanks. How's the single speeding going? Have you bought the kit? Also, something that really works on these frames is a brake booster if you haven't got one, the flex without one is just crazy.
  17. Ah yes that's it, wrong thread but thanks!
  18. I was thinking there was a name for the entire rear section from behind the seatpost. Maybe not.
  19. The wheel has barely any wobble, but doesn't appear central to the frame, I think it's closer to the frame on the left if that's what you were asking. £20 for mounts? Ouch. I think I'd rather sand the pad back. Thanks for your help. Also, is there a name for the rear part of a bicycle frame? Like subframe?
  20. Zoo! pads, they're not even that thick.
  21. I've got some new pads that are proving difficult to fit. The left rear brake, mount, and piston cannot move further away from the rim, yet the new pad is constantly against it. There must be a design flaw somewhere. What I'm wondering is, can I move the wheel over using washers etc? Are there other options? Cheers guys.
  22. So close yet so far. If I was actually any good at trials I would take regular trips into Glasgow, maybe I will in the future. Still, if you organised a ride I would see if I could spare the time.
  23. I've often thought this. Tonight's Kung Po Chicken:

    Akrigg's Away!

Shame, I was really enjoying his riding.
