The gearing is a lot slacker than a bmx. It would be possible though but it certainly wouldn't be fun. You could always get something like a hope pro 2 trials hub for the back and run a 5 speed cassette. It would make riding long distances a lot easier .

I found that when I had a fresh grind it didn't work too well but with a dead grind and little bit of tar it works really well. The pads and rim can make a difference to how well it works though.

I used to and it was spot on when it was dry. I ground the rim for comps though.

Heatsink yellows with a light grind and a little tar works for me. As with all things to do with the setting up a bike it's personal preference though and the debate about such things will never end.

Looking at the question marks in the original thread and title I think something has been lost in translation. For future reference it should be "is this bike bullshit?". I'm not knocking you though, your English is generally pretty good.

Other disciplines use weight training to aid performance. Supplements help when weight training, so I think supplements would indirectly help with trials. As far as roids go I wouldn't like to say.

You don't like the geo, spec and price therefore it's bullshit? We all spec our bikes so that they suit us, most of us have bikes that are unique to us in some way. I had a go on my mates fourplay earlier and hated it but that doesn't mean it's bullshit. You should think before you post.

I used to drink too much, take drugs, fight and spent a bit of time in prison. Now I ride trials I stay fit and I'm generally a nicer person.I suppose I was looking for excitement before but found it in the wrong places. I just wish I'd discovered trials sooner.

If you have a King on the back it would be pointless. A freewheel would effectivley give you less engagement when combined with a freehub as well as adding more weight and more potential problems.

Why do these arguments keep coming up on an almost monthly basis? If this is a real problem for you then go and ride where you won't see anybody.

Don't jump in and call people stupid and you won't get the "hate". I'm sure you may have some idea what your talking about but you don't know the processes this frame has been through to make it good again.

I'd say you want to be looking at about a 45 degree angle when you land and you should be fine.
