  1. word of the year 2013:Cakiper! :wink2: joking. isnt that problem due to using front cakipers on the rear? like you cant use a front 160 adaptor on the rear for 160? when it comes to mod frames and hope brakes i´m kind of clueless, but would be interesting to know
  2. yes,you have to face your mounts i think not sure about the non-fitting rotor though
  3. there are those 0.1 mm washers.and face the mounts only with the dedicated tool! edit:argh got beaten
  4. i drilled holes in its brain to break its will, that zombie will get off when i decide to lol edit:if the day comes, saddle recommendations?
  5. i ordered a syntace superforce 120x20°,i have massive faith in their products and with the bars rolled back that much it´ll end up like it should i hope.dont want the spinny moves in general to be lost, but oh well. stackers on my steerer are 30mm,as syntace need only 28 of steerer it´ll be like 35 then. sounds nice imo my saddle doesnt take your campaign against it personal btw :wink2:
  6. they should´ve been on the market already, dont know why theres delay around 55 pounds?here its 65 euro
  7. yeah leon,i remember you saying that before, could be you´ve been right :wink2: will test ride both stems this afternoon and hopefully figure out what is best trying to avoid mod stems, theyre so ugly, and its not that low, just not reachy enough. i dont know if its me not riding much the last weeks or if 40mm wb doesnt make a huge difference, but it doesnt feel so much longer than my 980 wb frame. thinking that over a high bb forces the weight towards the bars, wich could feel short... edit:did a bit of stem swapping, this time it ended up with my tryall 105x35 feeling best, okay, high is good i agree. just need to get a 120x 30 or similar now. that looks right and feels not bad
  8. thanks a lot so far, stems and bars are the most critical thing on a bike imo,i´ll end up trying i think
  9. so what geo stem? got a 105x35 lying around, but that´d cramp the reach down too much. got a 105x10 on,good reach, too low. could order a 120x20,will fit? bb is only +52mm! :wink2: keep in mind its not a street rig in general, crossing the line to a trials bike barely
  10. thanks! anyone got recommendations regarding a stem for that geo?atm i try a kore lite 3d(oldskool)thats 105x10°,tad too low for my feel. have to adjust those bars in line with the forks, otherwise my wrists are sore after an hour ride. thought about something like a syntace superforce 120x20°... bars are 25.4mm clamp
  11. i think i´d have to do a lot more to ruin it completely :wink2: ,but right, saddles not everyones cup of tea. getting a black one soon, but plastic again, that thing weights only 170g. thanks for the comment though
  12. no,dont!it has to work. http://sheldonbrown.com/wheelbuild.html sorry that i am too lazy to explain it myself. scroll about1/3 down, there you are! you used th wrong opposite hole when you began lacing the second side i think. i build my wheels the sheldon brown way and never had a problem. the second key spokes are the important thing,if theyre a hole offset to the wrong side you have every 3rd or 4th spoke sticking out
  13. http://earthsky.org/space/comet-panstarrs-possibly-visible-to-eye-in-march-2013 i think its seen mainly in the southern hemisphere
  14. liked that very much! that drop hurt a lot i bet!
  15. thats what software of this kind is made for! no problem
  16. bike built,...i like!

  17. i had good experience with halo twin rails, theyre 24 x 2.25 (right in the middle) roll fast as hell and are sticky, too. another one in my mind is geax tattoo, mate had them, good puncture resistance but heavy
  18. its my honest opinion that if you got 2-6 month time to wait and you can wait that long its a good choice. every second i waited is worth that beautiful piece of metal i can call my own now. not biased,my opinion @luke:okay,maybe i was a tiny little bit obsessive about it...
  19. back from customs, marino parts laying all over the floor in my living room. couldnt be happier atm except for a lottery win! oh wait, building the bike up tomorrow,i´ll see if theres a new happyness high on the scala...

  21. most maggies have big bleed holes so they need 4 fingers. (A) nah,to stay serious,i think its personal preference like soft or hard shoe soles... i had the 4 finger blades on for years now, always made the frame flex a lil bit more, but 2finger blades had just a too hard feeling.
  22. i am leaving my house as we speak to check over to customs and get my marino stuff!!!
