  1. thanks. next stem will be syntace superforce 120x20 with the spacer wich is on top now under it.reliable and skinny. will give me the reach i´m after. seat, yeah, was mentioned before, will get a black one,any cheap recommendations for a pivotal one? saw a united "value" for 14,90euro,maybe its that one? dont want to spend much on a saddle thats only for sitting on it while pausing training haha edit: so proud of my 1996er raceline horseshoe! it was in the original package until it went on my bike, yeah
  2. now i´ve got the final setup,it turned out to be a 100x25 stem, didnt think it fits at first but at the end it was the right one(for streety riding) the near future maybe will bring a 20mm longer one, then its perfect i think...
  3. just did some setup tests today, almost got it right. just a clip of me tryíng to 360 as on my old frame, its pretty hard with the new one lol
  4. i still dont get how he manages all those sick moves with this bike, honestly!
  5. yeah, more riding is more progression!atm i´m just practising to-fronts on a curb(LOL),just to get the movement dialled. your brain has to built shortcuts to the muscles, conditioning.
  6. tensile offset mounts? you´d use the full pad life edit:ah,okay,i misread you were saying the cranks rub sorry so take a sandpaper grinder(dont know what its called in english, those oscillating things) and hold it against it square till its enough
  7. try to fall more into it in forward direction, keeping the whole thing lower, with a bit more pedal kick. seems like your going too steep upwards. hope it makes sense
  8. trials is about smacking newton in his face! :wink2:
  9. rode with my maggie for over 3 years now, before that i had disc and killed 3 adaptors and calipers(cakipers for dez :wink2: ) in 4 weeks or so from backwards forces while training backhops. never change a running system, and ditch whats twisting your nerves i´d keep the 24,too,the best thing imo
  10. that depends on the threads design, but yeah, most tyres get a lot more grip when put on like -on the front "arrow"pointing forwards" -on the rear "arrow" pointing backwards" you´ll have to try,as every tyre reacts different in different positions. but you cant damage anything,do it.
  11. depending on geo your headtube angle will steepen up by a few split degrees(you´ll hardly notice that) and your wheelbase will shorten obviously. if its a difference from 40 to 30,you´ll notice nearly nothing,if its from 30 to 20,there should be a minor change in steering, but imo not drastical
  12. everyone follow this topic,he´ll be needing help again soon... joking...
  13. theres no right way to mount a brake disc in trials other than to do it on the front wheel :wink2: but yeah it was on the wrong way round. those "arms" must point forwards to prevent a collapsing brake surface
  14. could have to do with the gearing, like in my case, could be other factors, too. i changed from 22:16 to 22:17,and its a bit more difficult to put the power down when doing rolling pedal ups. its about to kick that last bit of turn before you take off a bit harder and shorter i think. thats how it feels for me 170?
  15. holy sh*t,gap-down-to-fronts over 2 meters,i´ve seen it before, and watching it again now still makes me think thats sick in so many ways...
  16. now thats a great idea,i have to search every topic i read recently,or to follow it.
  17. you are ryan leech of this forum man!
  18. only thing i´d avoid is dropping without crank bolts lol
  19. it more then less either a bad joke or a totally stupid seller imo :wink2:
  20. looks like the geo is spot on what you´ve been looking for.really good watch!
  21. i know i havent been asked but i wear what i´m wearing in the moment i decide to go out riding,no special clothes, except functional underwear. but i´m no comp rider,i think it has to have an advantage if everyone wears tight stuff.just not my thing.
  22. postmount is the better standard, plus its intercompatible with IS through adaptors. there was that old 4piston xt,i didnt buy it for 30euros new, because it was IS. certainly a patent cost thing
