i made the experience i have to "pull all registers"(do uk chaps call it that,too?) during the life of a grind/sets of pads: -at the beginning,there was a grind.medium harsh -that smoothens down until that bit of shine appears. -i change pads to softer ones. -during the grinds final dying process tar is applied. -i grind again gives me the best rim wear life edit:get your neighbours some oropax,a good maggie has to sound like its being r*ped
