whats the disadvantage of having every possible option?? if i´d just get a bigger tyre or another rim i´d be rubbing my tyre on the seat tube or chainstays(cs from 355 to 370mm to cover 2 transmission ratios and 2 tyre sizes without the brake beeing out of the rims range or vice versa),so i can go back a few mm. its multiple reasons i did this like it is,not a noob in such stuff (bike technician)

with my cactus its weird:everytime we think its absolutely damned to die,suddenly it begins to grow little branches that become independent new cacti if you rip´em off and plant them in fresh earth. i just dont know where to put them,so much are they...
