  1. what about putting two levers on one side.... as close to one another as possible? Not so sure whether it would work with maggy levers though..... I saw it done on a guys bike in one of the NWDisorder movies, whereby he had a wheelchair bike with 4brakes (one for each wheel) on standard bars. They were hayes disc jobbies, and they fit so snugg together the levers barely had a mm underneath one-another. heres a piccy.... ....if you get what i mean. OR if you are machining anything, why not do that - then machine or weld a lever together that fits into two levers ontop of one another? Mite be cheaper than machining an entire lever with two pistons - and would have the same power as two levers :) hope that helps :P
  2. loving it!! good job! well edited too :P the only thing i might personally alter, whether it would look better or worse i dunno, but maybe theres too many of the rider in the photo - looks a bit too busy and confusing..... maybe cut out the 2nd from top guy. Also would save him overlapping himself! just a suggestion - but impressed nonetheless!! :)
  3. ditto - seems ok to me edit: woopsy bit late
  4. Bugger! i go back to Guernsey on the 17th :)
  5. About half tar, and half shiney rim. I find works best. - The spinnnig the wheel whilst applying technique does work well! If theres too much tar, the brake will stick tooo well! Sometimes i just put it on one side of the rim only. Experiment with it on a ride, start with a little and work your way up, remebering that it will always wear off eventually..... andy :)
  6. would come.... but it hasnt rained in like a week, which means jumps of a dirt variety may well be nice and rideable!! So unless it rains tomorrow, i wont be seeing you guys on sunday.

    Hope Site

i think they've over done it a bit..... or under done it..... i cant tell. Does look like a simple template. I'm not a fan of the green! ha Took a while to load on 56k too!
  8. wow - cool - did you actually do any riding ? :S theres shed loadsa photos there! good job  looks like a cool place!
  9. 6ft 2" odd and im on a zebdi 1030 settup. feels nice to me, but as people have said, its all about your riding style and what you want to use the bike for. Taller people might find it easier to ride a long stock bike, but anyone could surely get used to it. Go for something in between like people have said. 1030 - 1050. andy :S
  10. pick me because.... - i am a nobody, so maybe people will listen to my review more. - being based in Guernsey in the channel islands, and at the mo in portsmouth for uni, i could test the pads mixed with sea water, sand, and seaweed easily - i dont use a grind - i do a lot of manuals and general streety riding - none of this uber long bike stuff - i have bmx buddies that could test it - i use lynx deodorant - i take lots of photos, so could illustrate my review amazingly - i am doing art at uni, so i have millions of spare time to review and ride - i have never paid for a set of heatsinks, and this could change my mind - i have just watched new world disorder 6 and think its amazing!! - i do every type of mountain biking to death, including XC, which may suggest i have great stamina and therefore might ride for longer each day - i have run out of original ideas of why to pick me :S Andy
  11. thats what i;d have thought. either that, or unscrew your axle, take the freehub off the wheel with the cog on it, then you can hit the sprocket from the spoke-side with a hammer, without the need of a chainwhip? make sense? :( you will bend your old sproket like made.... but it will come off - thats how i did mine :)
  12. thats good!! ha ha, i know what you mean. who the hell measures it..... maybe with a bike to gage whether you'd make it or not..... but not exaclty each INCH with a tape measure....... :(
  13. yup, then scanned onto CD for digi use :P
  14. Just found whiteboy's thread! Some quality photos in there! heres a few more...... comments please andy :D
