Spacer isn't going to make any difference since it rubbing on the BB cup itself.... i've been through this soooo many times- here are your options: 1) grind the tabs of the freewheel (it can make ALL the difference, just a couple of mm's). If you need to get the freewheel off another time, just cut yourself some new tabs with a dremel (works fine on mine)... 2) file a "weeny" little bit off the BB cup itself. You can probably take off half of the material and still use a BB tool with ease and it will be perfectly strong enough etc.... 3) change the bashring...although the coust bashring is the thinnest that i have ever had (just found out I had the ONLY gold coust bashring EVER!) The first two steps should sort it...and you'll still be able to tighten up your crank as much as you like :D hope that sorts it.. adam

where can you get a 73 x 127.5mm square taper BB? the biggest i could ever find in 73mm shell was 122.5mm (bikedock).....i'm not sure they actually make them anymore :( cheers, adam

he bought the crank with the frame :) (well i did...went to supercycles myself :( , and accidentally bought a woodstock for myself..) i've been through similar...i've been using front freewheels for a few years now, first on megamo cranks (shimano fwheel), then tensiles and then an ENO...I've always had to grind the tabs off an i've been through square and isis combinations. Steve, rest assured- an eno will fit, mine was VERY similar in terms of fit :) that chainstay is beef :) adam EDIT: adam (ter other one) said a 73 x 128mm BB was suitable....well that's what i have for my tensiles, but steve is using a 68 x 127.5mm since that is the biggest for square tapers around...right?
