  1. 1 fulcrum has an advantage over multiple. Pulling the lever down to activate lateral link.. 1 fulcrum. Lateral link acting on piston.. 2nd fulcrum. You cannot achieve linear force in a brake lever application
  2. Less mechanical advantage than a normal piston lever.
  3. What size dude? I have a set of non ground for cams 135's and a ground for cams 116's
  4. That's favouritism, I don't have mine yet!
  5. On my search for the perfect pedal I bought some electrons to fill in the gap... they can easily do that to your shin!
  6. ° You can borrow this one, but I'll need it back
  7. Cool What is it and the axle made from??
  8. If the adjustable is too big try a deep reach socket and extent ion bar
  9. Imo Heat won't do much until ~600°c when it becomes annealed.. and you don't want an annealed dropout
  10. Leverage as per the pic imo dude you'd only wanna grab the bent bit rather than put load across all of that section. Or the Jake safety route, or whatever works
  11. I bet it does work I've tried all sorts.. even toothpaste at one point. Still never liked sloping walls, tyres used to roll a bit more and the brakes were a twat to set up. I giggled because I thought of the Dan Cox associated rim.. childish I know of course then you said what looked like violin wax and I giggled even more.
  12. Yeah pics Otherwise.. however you choose to bend it, but do it slowly, trying to apply pressure opposite way to the original impact zone. I've used an adjustable spanner to good effect
  13. Sorry, I giggled like a school girl when I read that I prefer straight walls, so its a nay from me
  14. It is a really thin wall! And your grind is pretty dead
  15. Of your head?? *Tom Those v12"s with extra long pins are deadly :/ (Assuming you've still got them )
  16. What did you do?? Sounds safe
  17. Are you at uni or are either of those your chosen career? If its the latter I'd re-think them both, you maybe don't need money now... but you will.
