  1. Only me? He only says that he bought himself "a real trials bike".
  2. He says it's scary but does it anyways. I say it's scary and chicken out.
  3. I know the theory. Was just wondering if he has just learned them...
  4. This is so frustrating. Are pedal ups some sort of technique he uses for his kind of riding or why is he so quick at learning those?
  5. You mentioned it. Shouldn't have said that.
  6. I've bought some Freeriders about half a year ago and that's what they pretty much last for me. The sole is very grippy but doesn't last very long. In the picture you can see where the pins of my pedals are. It really is annoying as I can feel them through the sole and sometimes, when I bail, I cannot get my foot off the pedal sideways as the pins dig into the holes. I've had many Five Tens (Freeriders 3x, Spitfire 2x, Sleuth 1x) and none have lasted more than half a year, maybe 3/4 of a year. How they last 2 1/2 years for @Duncy H I cannot quite understand.
  7. Lucky you. I don't have that much time.
  8. I can't ride with fat gloves and -8°C after a couple of minutes isn't as cold anymore. I have to admit that I have to force myself out of the house though. The thought of March to October keeps me warm though.
  9. Again, pretty happy with todays ride. It was cold but I still managed to pull some things off. Nothing big. I'm especially happy with the last sidehop. It's the first sidehop on the Inspired. Well, not really the first one. The day I got the Inspired I attempted to do one and managed to bent my rotor so that no riding was possible afterwards. I haven't done any sidehops since. Today it just happened.
  10. I wouldn't normally put too much thought into it either but this happened twice already and I'm kinda annoyed by it. I have never had such a problem before and having used two different sets of new Shimano steel bolts I come to wonder where the problem really lies. It's not that all bolts come loose but I think it's only the same two (holes). Could it be that my Hope hub as some issues? With my Bonz Disc hub I have never had these kind of problems. edit: I just saw that I mixed up two topics. The hope adaptor I mentioned before is for my Saint caliper, that is too far out.
  11. I'll try that on Valentines Day to surprise my missus. She's at work and I can labor at home.
  12. Somebody is going to try it I'm sure. The internet is always right. I bought six M5x13 titanium bolts, the above mentioned Hope spacer and Loctite 2701. This will work I'm sure.
  13. I'll get myself some of those screws and the adaptor then. M5x15 should do the trick as well. I want as much threads covered as possible. It never even occurred to me that I could use normal M5 screws. On your adaptor you could use Loctite 2701. This should hold it tight. When the bolt brakes on you trying to loosen it, it's just the adaptor. With my disc bolts, it's the hub that goes...
  14. I used Loctite 243 on a 180mm rotor and they came loose twice. I bolted them up to 8Nm now. The Hope Adapter seems to be a better solution than the washers between the frame and the adaptor.
  15. Pretty happy about it considering that on Monday I started practicing tyre tap 180°s (the move at the end is called this way isn't it?). Next time I will try doing it of a higher obstacle.
  16. I saw this already. The question is whether I'd need different rotor bolts for this then. As it is I have problems with rotor bolts coming loose. Two threads less wouldn't be ideal I recon.
  17. So nice. He could do some #manualmonday clips.
  18. I only clean my bike with a Gardena Prima 5 and later oil the chain if necessary. The Gardena has just enough power to get the mud off and not enough to f**k your bearings. I wouldn't buy any MucOff or such products. If you really need to clean your bike, you can always use some detergent. Since in winter the streets are full of salt, I always spray my bike off with clean water. Takes 3 min.
  19. They are already mounted. Don't work.
  20. Sometimes sponsorship makes you be able to pay for your own parts though. Nothing wrong with this. How did Danny start? Serious question. I dunno.

  22. So all your have to do is ride at radical bikes?
  23. Time to ride brakeless then. We don't even have an indoors skate park anywhere near.
  24. Tell them that you run Trialtech fluid.
