Modifications to make trials parts stronger
Thee Damon Watson replied to Jake.'s topic in Trials Chat
dude, do what i do, get a rear rim on the front, and a rear tyre with dh tube on the front. pashley/curtis forks, threaded 1/2 inch bar as a headlock take crank bolts out, repeat again, threaded bar gusset tank chain old school sun doublewide rim heavy is good to an extent, the fealing of less flex at durability is far more confidence inspiring then weight watching, seriously though if your doing it for training purposes, just look into your power to weight ratio.. i find gym helps alot, and i dont go to train for trials, i go to look better, at 16 stone now and i gotta admit bikes are starting to feal very flexy the front rim is deff a good idea though, mpore stability on front end -
bb7 front, best hold disk rotor/pad combo?
Thee Damon Watson replied to Thee Damon Watson's topic in Trials Chat
i cant find them anywere? there not on tarty either for a bb7 -
the 'standard' gear is 18-15 with 175 cranks! i prefer to run 18-14 with 170's, wheel rotates more, all depends on your power though, as you have to overcome the initial inertia

up until now iv previously used the standard rotor/pads are there any rotors {such as the ice-tech] and or pad combos that would improve bite/hold? 203 disk btw thanks in advance for any comments/suggestions

i have to admit, ali c is fast becoming my favourite rider now, i dont even ride in that way but hes really really good, them hooks to 90 degree things are amazing! also! i have a question...what rotors are those? they look like the ones with a spider in the centre? any trouble with wobble/cracking them? brilliant video, prefer it to the original to be honest, and wishing ali a speedy recovery.
