  6. Basically i'm building an Inspired and i'm trying to buy a new set of cranks to bolt to it. I've always liked the look of Shimano Saints but not sure what model I'll need & what length. as well as that i'm unsure what width BB id need to run. Someone has also mentioned i need to make sure the cranks have a granny ring (what ever that is ) Really struggling here. Can someone just send me a link so I can just order a set of cranks! Either: Saint, SLX or ZEE. Cheers.

    Magura MT2s

Cheers, thanks for clearing that up. I'll have to stop being a tight git and fork out for some saints.
  8. At the end of the day I ride for fun, I get a kick out of doing things the intended way (although I also enjoy doing lines differently) it makes you feel that all of your practicing has paid off. Up until a few months ago I used to play on the bike 4/5 hours every single day. When you turn up to a competition and a someone just rides out of section and tech dabs it pees me right off.

    Magura MT2s

Hi, I'm building up a street bike but I'm trying to kept costs as low as possible. I'm just wondering if anyone has used MTs on a trials bike and could give me a quick review. I've found a set for £60 brand new.
  10. UCI rules in all classes would help. Also if you go out of section its a 5. I went to Brimham rocks last year and there was a difficult section in the woods it was a step with a really short run up and the run up was down hill only way to do it would have been a hook. One of the kids who I'm not going to name and shame was told by his father to ride around the back of the section and put his bike through the flags using a dab when everyone else 5'd it trying to do it the intended way. It was utter BS.
  11. Cooooosts. Get a fresh set and they'll be spot on.
  12. It's a 2004 model but here it is anyway.
  13. Both will snap after about 6 months use. Which do you prefer?
  14. It's not as hard as it first seems mate! As soon as you learn the basics everything else just comes naturally. The bigger your balls the the better you'll get mate. Stick at it!!
  15. Hi, I've been looking for a video for a little while and can't seem to find it. The video was on YouTube and was or Toni Bou, Adam Raga etc practicing in pedal bikes before a competition. The video was indoor and if I remember rightly Toni was riding a 26" Monty XXV. Help appreciated. Cheers.
  16. This is not helping my craving for an inspired
  17. Mrs spent an absolute fortune on me! iPhone 6 plus. Personalised reg for the car. Armani watch. Xbox one. A lot of clothes! Trainers. Aftershave and various other smellys.
  18. There's plenty of material still on that mount, you should have no worries running a caliper on there. I'd highly recommend not going any bigger than a 160mm rotar through.

    black work II

Rear tyre is on the wrong way around and the brake levers are also on the wrong sides.
  20. You're opening a can of worms to be honest. Most parts will fit but the new bike won't have the feel you're looking for. Best thing to do would be to sell the Inspired and start from scratch and build a new Radix. Your wheel / tyre setup will be a little on the obese side for a non seated trials set up The forks are also really heavy, this'll make the bike feel really solid but it wont react like a proper trials bike it'll always have that BMX feel.
  21. Is the TartyBikes advent calender making an appearance again this year?

  22. Cutting all sugar from your diet and taking diet pills/ ketones isn't necessary. Cut out chocolate, crisps, sweets and carbs. Only drink water (aim for at least 2L of water a day) you'll notice a different in fitness within about a week. Exercise at least an hour a day (jogging, rowing etc) and try a bit of xc riding. Hope this helps.
  23. Use a scribe to punch a little hole to help guide the bit amd just go for it.
