Works fine for me (Powerbook G4). Although it's just not very good It's got potential though - it's a complete rip off of Elma but the physics aren't quite up to scratch yet. Then again it's only a beta or something so hopefully they'll get it sorted, and there's loads of levels etc.

If you want to get a perfectly straight cut, get some tape (electrical, masking - you choose) and wrap it around the steerer. Wrap around neatly enough and it'll be perfectly straight. Then just get a hacksaw. Those pipe cutter things are a lot easier and quicker but most people don't have one of them lying around, so a hacksaw is fine.

Ice is great fun, you gotta try two wheel skids on big puddles of ice. Hours of fun

Open Office on the Mac is crap (At the moment). You can't unlock the 'test drive' version of office:mac. You could download the whole version from somewhere but that would be naughty.

You need any RAW processing program, such as Rawshooter, Capture One or Photoshop (needs Adobe Camera Raw update if it's a relatively new camera). I think Nikon make their own version but the name escapes me. From there, there ought to be a way of working out these things. If not, you can convert straight away to TIF (a lossless format) and go from there. I'm guessing the normal photoshop levels panel isn't detailed enough for you?

That sucks You just don't hear the bad side of them when they die, that's all. A few years back there was a guy in Lancaster who was a total scally - Was in court for throwing bricks at fire engines etc, just a general dick. No license because he got it taken off him for doing 100 in a 30 zone. And then he killed himself driving unlicensed, uninsured at stupid speeds. He was in the newspapers as a nice young lad 'addicted to speed' who was struck down in his prime. I'm not saying these guys are like that at all, before anyone says. RIP

Pfft, playing poker is all about drinking beer with your mates and just chilling. You can't play it on an xbox! I like it, we were playing last night and it's a good laugh. There are two problems though: 1) My poker face is terrible, I can't hide anything. 2) I usually get bored and tired so bet all my chips on nothing because I want to go to bed (We don't play for money, I haven't got enough to lose)

Haha, awesome. Well done on getting it back anyway, wish I'd got my Leeson back

No. That's the point of Macs moving to Intel processors. Boot Camp is just what you think - so you can run Windows on a Mac, but Macs will always have OS X.
-
You can tell it's not a mac, because the first thing you see after the desktop is some spyware What you need to understand is that prettiness is only a teeny part of why OS X is way better than Windows. So you have changed one little thing, but it's still Windows underneath. You can get it - Google OSX86 or something. But I have no idea how good it is - I used it around a year ago and it was buggy as hell.

Yeah, you need to get a newer sim card. You might be able to get a sim card with all your details on and same number etc if you speak to customer services... But if you're on Pay n Go then they probably won't be that helpful. Other than that, it is possibly that you don't have the MMS settings - search on google for MMS settings for your phone + network, there are often sites that tell you.

What's so good about it? They have limited stock and hardly any of it is less than RRP. For online, try boardwise, SS20, BlueTomato, Noah's Ark in Stroud. Sorry I don't know the addresses, but google

Whats In Your, "what Not To Do" Book?
Tomm replied to downhill_rob2@hotmail.com's topic in Chit Chat
We had to go to the doctors once to get Lego extracted from my sister's nose. The thing was, it was my Lego and it was an important piece, so I had to use it again after it had come out. Urgh -
You won't save money anywhere in Europe, pretty much most prices are fixed. Unless you catch the end of season stuff. But yeah, if you're going to the US (Or even better Canada) you can save a lot.

If you set up file sharing on the windows PC, you should be able to access it really easily from the mac and then it's just a case of drag + drop all your files. But if you're crap with computers then file sharing ain't the easiest thing to set up. There are plenty of tutorials about though - google.

No, proper snowboard helmet (Which is basically just a bike piss pot but with warmer padding). http://www.on-one.co.uk/index.php?module=p...&PAGE_id=84

If you want to look around shops, there's some good deals at TK Maxx, and there's a few places with sales on at the moment. At the trafford centre I found some Oakley pants for £40 which ain't bad at all. Decathlon do a lot of (Quechaua) ski/board stuff which is very reasonably priced and good, although it won't win you many cool points Online-wise I'm not sure. Apart from helmets - Get a planet-x one from on-one. They're really cheap and decent (I've got one).

What's actually wrong with the levers and/or the bars? I don't really see how a bar can be broken, in which case it'll be snapped in two and it won't be anything to do with the brakes.
-
Fractures take at least 6 weeks to heal usually, not just 2. Obviously your hand hurts when you try and grip something, because you've broken it Just give it the proper amount of time for healing and you'll be fine.

Pfft, it's not like Greenday have a classic Les Paul sound anyway, it's too distorted to be distinguishable from anything else really. Yeah, you might not get the exact sound with a strat, but I bet you can get it with any old Gibson/Epiphone/copy with a humbucker. Should be a nice guitar though.
-
Yeah, macs sometimes use TIFF files whereas PCs use TIF files... Photoshop can read them both though and I think it's more likely that you're trying to open a modern word doc on an older version of Word.

If you go and give blood then they will tell you your blood type and you can do a good thing at the same time! Win win!

I think he's just a plain dwarf (that's probably not politically correct), with a big head and disproportionate build. But these people are much smaller still - Smaller than new born babies but they're in proportion.
