Sorry what was that? They needed changing? The design wasn't perfect from the first batch? Oh my word
-
If anyone's in Manchester then I'd be up for that, I'm going once or twice a week at the moment.
-
It's funny in that it's a really, really stupid thing for her to say. For someone like her that's been in the public eye for years, you'd have thought she might be used to thinking before she spoke, but no. I really hope this ruins her

Exactly the same thing happened to my mate's E2. Pretty shoddy design if you ask me, but I believe they've sorted it with more recent ones... Anyway, he just taped it up with a load of electrical tape. It does work OK, though I'd be surprised if gluing it is going to void any half-price replacement scheme.

I'm not sure you'll be able to get it helicoiled you know... It's worth a try, but I didn't think helicoils came in big enough sizes for crank threads (In fact, are they even a standard thread size?). I think you may end up having to buy a new crank

It'll be some kind of virus/spyware. There's no reason why Windows itself would want to do that to you.
-
And Jade totally didn't get it at all, and came back with something like 'Yeah, well, it takes one to know one!'
-
I think Jade is just an ignorant retard and the two of them didn't get on. It's just that she wasn't intelligent enough to argue without resorting to name calling. The thing is though, she does represent a huge chunk of England. It's all very well Gordon Brown going to India and apologising, but the truth of the matter is there are a hell of a lot of people like her in this country - Ignorant, stupid and a bit racist if the opportunity arises.

I don't think it's that impressive. I mean it's good but I bet it's not as hard as it looks, and the tunes were hardly anything special. Reminds me of Yngwie Malmsteen's stuff - technically amazing but really really boring to listen to.

Start + L ?

I'm pretty sure you have a virus of some description.

I do that, much to the dismay of the manchester bus drivers. That's probably the main reason, but it's also quicker, you don't get people walking in the road (people think bike paths are pavements) and it's smoother. Plus you can slip stream cars and buses

Yeah he has size 15 or something feet... But I'm sure I heard that feet only make up about 10% of your swimming power, so it's not like it makes a huge difference.

Nah, I didn't think you sounded like a twat All the big French resorts have a decent night life as far as I can tell - it's only the really small Austrian/Swiss ones that are a bit posher and smaller that maybe aren't so good? But I dunno. Everywhere I've been has been good. Some are crazy expensive though - Courcheval and Val D'Isere spring to mind. Anyway, if there's 16 of you going, you'll make your own fun

I saw a grown man get blown into a wall. It was really funny

Fair enough - I was reading terror-error's post. Anyway, you'll have a blast

Morzine is apparently a bit crap when there's no snow. And they're having a lot of trouble at the moment. I went there in Feb and it was awesome, but maybe it's not a good place to go in December.

Jap Slap is a random name that has been given to just about any trials move from bunny hops to taps to pedal hops etc. It's an American thing I think.
-
Yes, I often ride my trials bike when I want to get somewhere quickly. Similarly, I can't count the number of women I've pulled whilst out riding.

Anything over 1600 should have permasnow really, There's always snow towards the top. Like will said, Val Thoren (or anywhere in 3 vallees) is a good choice because it goes up to 3200m at the highest point. We went to Les Arcs this year in December and the snow was fine, and that's only 2400m (I think?). So yeah, don't worry too much, wherever you go it'll be amazing. Coach trips for 24 hours are really, really boring. Flying would be way better if you can do it cheaply (and you often can). For accommodation, I've stayed in a couple of French youth hostels and they're amazing! Really nice and they feed you too. Definitely worth considering anyway. Or just get some self catering apartment, that's probably the cheapest way if you're organising it all yourself separately. You may be on your parents' insurance - it's worth checking to save £20. But obviously make sure it covers winter sports and not just normal holidays. And no-one's gonna refuse you. They've had worse than you I reckon Have you ever boarded before? If not, I think it's worth getting lessons before you go (dry slope) but it's up to you.

Aye, that's why I'm on NTL too. I'm sure there was a ruling fairly recently that meant that BT had to offer cheap lines for just internet use. But I guess like Bongo said you still have to pay something for the line. But yeah, NTL is good if you can get it on your road.

Nah, f**k waiting for an MRI scan on the NHS. I had to have one on my shoulder, so I booked one in the NHS. Then I found out I was covered on my Dad's health insurance so I went through BUPA and got it done. Then I needed an op, so they did that within the month. About 2 months after that, I got a letter saying they'd arranged the MRI on the NHS. I was pretty much better by the time I would have had the scan it on the NHS But the clinic appointment doesn't really have that much of a waiting list. Like I say, if they put it as urgent it'll be done within a week or so. So you have to persuade the GP to mark it urgent

I like Olivia's comment: Because she obviously knows...
-
You do have to see your GP. If you just go and say it's really troubling you and you'd like to be referred, then he can't really refuse you. He will refer you to the orthopaedic clinic, and they can decide whether you need a scan or not. It might be something that the specialist can diagnose without having to have a scan, so there would be no point in just getting a scan done for the hell of it. Plus you need someone to look at the scan... And that person will be the orthopaedic doctor. If you must, then you can see the ortho people privately - you don't have to go to a public hospital first. Just get the GP to refer you to a private clinic, which they can do. Although if he does an urgent referral then you'd be seen by the NHS in a week anyway.
