  1. There's definitely a video about that in the best of the internet thread somewhere, a few months old. No idea how to search for it though. But yeah, it's very cool
  2. Modern digital stills cameras are much better at video than video cameras are at photos. So if you want something that will do both, a more modern stills camera might be what you need. But obviously if you're mostly doing video, get a video camera (and keep the old camera for stills).
  3. Nah I wouldn't. You'd be jealous of all the average people who could have sex.
  4. Just buy more expensive SPDs, that's the answer. Crank Brothers Egg Beaters 4Ti. They're about £320
  5. Do you know what's actually gone? It might be worth getting it repaired. I got my Fender amp repaired at some random electronics shop for £40.

    Lense Help:(

There's a couple of lens mounts for Nikons - I don't know what they are called, but the super-old ones (Pre-1980s I think) won't fit. But anything newer than that will - You'll have to look it up though. But yeah, the d50 can take lenses designed for film. The D40 can't take as big a selection.

    Water Bleed

I'm sure if you search you will find hundreds of topics on this - there are never any conclusions either... But I think if you're in Sweden (it's cold there, right?) you might want to give water a miss.
  8. If you've broken it three times then I think it's trying to tell you something! SRAM powerlinks are a bit crap and prone to snapping (or just falling apart), but I've never had any problem with the split link on KMCs. It's quite useful to be able to take the chain off, but if it's giving you problems then I'd just sack it off and join it properly.
  9. QRs annoy me - The wheel slips in the dropout all the time and it's annoying. I'd much rather have fun bolts like I had on my old bike. Or 360 dropouts for the ultimate wheel-staying-in-place action.
  10. Yeah, roses are well expensive. I am going to try my hardest to stay single at least until after Valentine's day. It's so much hard work, even worse than Christmas, haha. But at least Christmas is good when you've sorted everything out - Valentine's day is just a shitload of pressure for no return at all. It's probably my least favourite day of the year, and for the first time in 6 years I'm single on Valentine's. Yay
  11. ...and saying that you're doing a degree in Music Tech (oooh) doesn't mean that your opinion is any more or less valid than anyone else's.
  12. Yeah, he probably does. He knows that the UK market is full of people with lots of (too much?) money to spend on bikes. I am sure he sets the RRP high, and if Tarty sells at less than Deng wants, they risk losing the relationship, irrespective of how much Tarty would actually get them for. It's like iPods - You can't buy an iPod for more than about £5 less than RRP - all the prices are fixed by Apple and the shops lose the right to sell them if they undercut the Apple stores.
  13. I always say I am vegetarian and 1) You get meals before everyone else, 2) It's usually nicer - some of the meaty stuff can be really weird on planes. But yeah, mostly the food is crap but you're hungry so it's OK.
  14. Yeah, I thought about making one a few summers ago, but couldn't be arsed in the end, came to the conclusion that it was easier and cheaper to buy a hard drive MP3 player.
  15. If they are actually any better (performance-wise) than Maguras then some people will buy them - if you want the best then you have to pay for it. But if they're no better than maguras, only fools will buy them (that's a lot of people though!). So I don't think anyone can write them off before they've used them, but they'd wanna be really special. Is that their warrantee policy?
  16. I think you can get an iPod dock with an optical out, if your amp can accept that. And then you can get a remote control with that. The other thing is to knock up a cheap VIA epia (or whatever they are) system with a big hard drive and a decent sound card. Stick it in a box the same size as a separates box and you're laughing.
  17. You are a dick. All I heard all week was that the condition in Canada (especially Fernie) were awesome. And I was just a bit jealous. So get some pictures up to make me hate you more

    Big Brother

What's racist about that? It's true.
  19. Yeah I've never seen that either, that fashion obviously hasn't got to Manchester yet. But yeah, I can see the scallies loving that. Although it's gotta play havoc for your peripheral vision - Maybe they'll be involved in more road accidents because they can't see where they're going. We can only hope
  20. Believe it or not, Fred Perry and Burberry were not designed specifically for chavs.
  21. Anyone that spends £450 on a coat is a 'tard IMO. And there's no such thing as too expensive for chavs - Look at Burberry, Fred Perry etc. It's not exactly cheap and that's the exact reason why people buy it. And then well-off middle class kids buy clothes from charity shops. Counter culture it is
  22. Yes, but presumably before you 'just throw clothes one', you have been to the shops to buy them. Everyone chooses their own clothes. P.S. What is skater style these days? Because I thought that most of the fashion-skaters were wearing tight emo-style stuff these days. Not actually emo, 'cos it's based on Punk, but similar styles. I wouldn't like to really put myself in a category, but I wear Vans a lot of the time
  23. It's a 180 endo to half cab. Going backwards + 180 to going forwards = half cab. Or it would be if you were BMXing, anyway.

    Snow!

There was snow forecast for the Netherlands, I saw it on the news this morning

    Laptops

If that's what you've got at the moment, it's not going to be a huge upgrade at all. If you're having trouble with your current laptop, I'd definitely start by formatting everything
