Don't you think it's a pretty horrible thing though? I mean the act of hanging someone up so they dangle from their neck until they die? Even if you agree with the death penalty, there are better ways of doing it. Lethal injection for one. I just can't imagine what it would feel like to be standing there waiting for the floor to give way. Horrible. You wouldn't do that to an animal. Obviously he was a bad guy, and yes he killed a lot of people. But an eye for an eye and the world is blind. The fact that the Iraqi government would kill a guy as punishment just perpetuates the feeling in that part of the world that life is cheap. To me, life is something very precious and taking any life is wrong. Obviously you're entitled to your opinions, but so am I. I'm not stupid, I just have different opinions to you.

I don't know to be honest. I've never used a DV camera. But I'd be very surprised if you can't get it working. Have you read all the instructions for the camera, whether you have to switch it on etc? Also it might be worth looking on the Samsung website for some mac drivers for your camera.

It will work I'm sure. You might need some software though. Have you got Adobe Premiere for the Mac? That is capable of capturing, and so is iMovie I think, although I've never used it. But your computer should have iMovie on it anyway, so try that. Also how are you connecting it? I'm guessing firewire, but I'll just check. I don't think USB will work, if it's a mini-DV cam.

My Dad's collection is weird though, it's all basically 70's prog rock and nothing that exciting. Anyway, I will check out some of these, thanks people

Can't believe they still hang people. It's pretty sad I think, to be hanged is a pretty terrible way to die. Should have just locked him up for the rest of his life if you ask me... Can anyone recommend some decent metal albums I should listen to? I've got a need for some decent metal and my collection is lacking. I've got Appetite for Destruction (+ other G'n'R albums) and Black Sabbath's Paranoid album, but I want others like those. Nice riffage + bad hair is the order of the day please. Thanks.

Haha, I totally know what you mean. 3-4 years ago I remember laughing at all the skaters that used to hang around (That fad seems to have disappeared a bit?) and the fact that they make maybe 1 kickflip in 20 attempts. But that's trials now. I know what you mean though, without progression trials can be a bit dull. So you've just gotta mix it up a bit and see what happens. If you're still not enjoying it, give up for a few months, and then when you get back into it everything is an achievement

Talking like that isn't cool I'm afraid. Sorry you had to hear it from me. But yes, you're talking about virtual memory and it's very much advisable. However, unless you've changed some settings it should be working, don't touch it.

My guess is that your computer's about as fast as frozen treacle? Those white screens always happen, I don't know if there's an exact cause, just general crapness. Format the computer, it's the answer to everything. I don't understand how people can use a computer when they get to that state, slow computers really frustrate me. So in answer to your question, it's one of the diseases that computers get and it needs to be put down I'm afraid. Say your goodbyes (back up your stuff) and give it the injection. The alternative is to try and delete whatever virus/spyware/other crap is causing it. But this won't work, and you'll spend hours on it.

Yeah, you can do whatever. Mine comes with adapters for a VGA monitor (normal computer monitor connection), a DVI monitor (posh newer monitors) and you can also buy an adapter to hook it up to the TV (via component, s-video or scart) which is pretty useful too.

Was there anyone out there that didn't know about it? Even my Mum can manage that much.
