You're scared of doing something stupid? It's probably a valid fear, I do stupid stuff when I'm drunk and there are certain people that I wouldn't like to see me in that state...
-
Is that blue outer cable or have you bodged some blue magura hose on there?

You're a bit slow with that link (it's been posted before) but good video anyway, such huge cojones as they say in GTA.

I've spent hours and hours on hold to O2 customer services (Probably another reason why my phone bill is so big), and they still owe me money for a faulty phone I bought 3 months ago Truly awful customer service. Although when you want to cancel your contract, you get through to their "customer retention" people straight away So I'm totally ditching them. The only problem is that because of their loyalty thing, I was only paying £12.50 line rental instead of £25, so if I got a new contract I'd have to pay full whack again. Anyone got a bad thing to say about Vodaphone? They seem to be winning at the moment.

My contract's up and I've had enough of O2. I need to get a new number because I keep getting chat messages sent to my phone, after it got stolen Plus I've spent enough time (and money) listening to O2's f**king jingle whilst on hold, that I know how rubbish O2's customer service is. If that wasn't enough I've been raped on bills because O2 got their sums wrong. O2 = shit. So yeah, are any of the other networks any better than O2? In terms of customer service, price and anything else. Thanks.

All this could have been avoided if Sam changed his password or whatever, would have saved loads of time. On the other hand maybe he did it himself. Just as a joke perhaps, or maybe he was just testing the water.

Some neat skillz they have, but I wasn't really any the wiser as to what the film was about.

I used some EA50s with a 120mm stem and it felt almost exactly the same as my Monty bars I had previously. But they will be a fair bit narrower than the likes of Onza CF or Koxx bars. I've always thought that "trials" bars are too narrow anyway. Just depends what you want. Then I got some DW in 2.5" rise and they are the sex. Loved them. But as lots of people have already said, they break pretty easily. I can't confirm that though - mine got stolen before I could really use them At the moment I'm running cut-down Easton Monkey lites or something and I like them narrow anyway. So in my opinion, there's not much point in getting bog-standard bars + 110mm stem, because it's very similar to your trials bars (just slightly narrower). But if you fancy changing around, getting a shorter stem or higher bars, then yeah, I would go for some EA50s or Double Walls and a stem of your choice

Awesome I can almost understand that attitude if you were in a room stuffed to the teeth with big, violent-looking gay people. I.e. lie and talk shit to get out of it. But this is a public forum about trials, you're hiding behind your computer. You have no incentive to lie about this, apart from to "fit in" with the crowd. But whatever.

Depends how much you want to spend really. I like the look of Flite SLRs, but I think they are a bit overkill, and they have a price to match. There's always the Leeson carbon thing that you can get. I think it's £68 or something and made of just Ti and carbon fibre (and some glue I imagine). Really uncomfortable (almost useless) as a seat, but looks the part because it's really low profile. I have no idea on weights though. I would probably get a flite unless there was loads of difference in weight, as it'll be ten times more comfortable if you actually want to use it.

Would you be bothered if the girls at your school went around saying you had a nice ass?
-
You aren't the only person to say this, so apologies for quoting just you. What I don't really understand is why so many people have this attitude - "I don't mind gays except ones who want to bum me". You presume a) That you are the finest piece of ass in town and every gay man fancies you, and gay people will pork you with no prior warning, possibly in the club you're in. Fair enough you don't like the thought of anal sex, but this scenario is totally stupid. In the same way that women are scared of rape, that doesn't mean they hate all guys because they have a penis. It's quite a common argument and it makes no sense. That is all.

iPhoto can resize stuff. Just select the picture(s) you want and press cmd-shift-e or Share > Export from the menu. Or there is always ImageWell. That's supposed to be good, never used it though because I usually just use Photoshop. And that movie was really, really annoying. Tiny, rubbish quality, stupid ken burns effect on every picture and I can't look through the pictures at my own pace. Just upload all the pictures separately. The pictures themselves look pretty good though.

That's for Mac though... The only other one I know of for PC besides gaim is Trillian. I used it ages ago in the years of MSN 5 or thereabouts, but I hear it's pretty crap these days. Maybe worth a look though. Or there's always the hacked/patched version of the official MSN, dunno if you tried that. Just gets rid of a lot of the bloated crap that pisses off anyone older than the age of 8.

Can't speak for the Avids, but XT/XTR levers have very weak springs to make them return. Although I would guess that most of the power comes from the springs in the brake itself, so you could probably do without the springs in the lever. Try it and see? Although I guess you may as well just demand another lever, considering they're so expensive. You want it to be perfect...

That looks amazing. How's it ride compared to the Ashton?
-
Someone will have put him up to it. The northern riders have been using "give it some pasty" for years, way before Blue Peter... I think Danny Smith started it?
-
Correct. Your current CPU is socket478, but that won't matter if you're going to get a new CPU as well, as you have realised. But there is no real point in getting a new CPU unless you're going to get something a lot faster. If you're happy with the computer then just get a new motherboard. How do you know it's the motherboard that's the problem?
-
BUT People make different lifestyle choices and people who choose to ride trials or do any action sports are not what you imagine when you think of a gay man. If you visited a fashion forum or something I'm sure the numbers would be significantly different. Obviously stereotypes aren't always true and there's probably a good few people who don't conform. Also, the average age of this forum is probably about 16-17? And a lot of people at that age have yet to come out. But yeah, I don't think Sam wrote that post. Whether he's gay or not is an entirely different matter, but something I won't really be worrying about

Bone conducts sound fairly well (although not as well as the air and eardrum for normal people), and if your eardrum/outer/middle ear are all gummed up, then you will notice the sound coming through bone more. Your ears are compensating a bit for not hearing properly and making everything louder. You can test this with a tuning fork - It's called Rinné's test Mine was like that 6 months ago. It sounded and felt like there was some water stuck in there. Anyway, I got some drops and used them. A couple of days later this big plug of wax came out But I could hear again so woot. So yeah, if the drops aren't working, just get them syringed. As Steve said, it's pretty awesome to get your hearing back if it's not been great for ages.

I like the 5th one very much. Did you use a flash?
-
I would get a BB7. 1/3 the price and just as good as a Hope, really. That's what I did, because when I had my BB7, it never needed any water or whatever, it only took a few minutes of hopping around. But the Juicy hasn't been the same. It's just not got the nice grabbiness of the BB7, which I liked. Meh.
-
So who has a Blue Peter Badge then? I do, haha. I made that Tracy Island thing they showed on Blue Peter (Must've been 12-13 years ago now) and my sister took some pics and sent them in. Go me!
-
Well I would probably vote no, although I dunno. If you carry water round with you all the time, it'll be great. But I'd probably just go with the BB7 if you must have a disc.
-
I don't really understand. A Juicy with the same pads (and perhaps rotor) as the BB7 would be amazing. I'm not quite sure why they have different pads, but I'm pretty sure that they do. So I would say that a BB7 is better, yeah. Plus loads cheaper Although I might experiment with pads and stuff on the Juicy.
