  1. .app is for Mac, perhaps you downloaded the wrong one? Or maybe phones use .app too
  2. Koxx are a business, in exactly the same way as Onza/Deng/BT etc are. They obviously think that their frames are at the right price point for them to make money. If it was as simple as just lowering their prices and getting more customers and making more money, they would have done it ages ago. It seems to me to just be simple economics - As long as there are people who will pay £800 for a frame, Koxx will still have business. The only way that will ever change is if we decide enough's enough and we stop buying Koxx bits. There's not really any point complaining about it when we are the ones at the root of the problem. If it bothers you, buy a cheaper frame from another manufacturer
  3. While we're on the subject, does anyone know what thread Shimano DX pedals use? And can I just replace the pins with DMR replacement ones? That would be good.
  4. I agree, long bikes are here to stay. I probably didn't explain myself very well. By UCI Street I mean people who spend all their days practicing sidehops and drop gaps so they can be just like Craig. I suppose there's nothing wrong with that (whatever floats boats) but to me it's just a tiny part of riding and so limiting yourself to doing that all day seems a bit silly. Annnnyway I think I suit a shorter bike better. I can gap just as far as on my old (longer) bike. It's weird. Big gaps seem easier on longer bikes, but I don't seem to go any further. Maybe I'm doing it wrong Don't say buy a BMX though. I can't ride BMXs, they just seem wrong. You can't do what I do (Trials ) on a BMX anyway.
  5. Some people have realised that chasing an extra inch on your sidehops is a bit futile and a bit boring. But that's just, like, my opinion, man. I find that shit dull and street riding more interesting. I can totally understand long and low bikes on natural, but this whole "UCI Street" (lol) thing is just boring. It's all about hitting nice lines. Besides, these drop gaps are getting a bit old now anyway, time for a different TF fashion And I've always said length of bike has nothing to do with how tall you are - I'm 6', maybe 6'1" and I ride a 1020 bike. I'm sure there are taller people with shorter bikes too. It's just about what you want to ride. And I don't think everyone will go short - Bikes are still getting longer (The long Czar is 1125 isn't it?) and there will always be a group of people who want to ride bigger and bigger. But the middle core of riders who are on 1065's and just ride a mix of street and natural might well decide that they could trade an inch or two on the sidehops, and have more fun. Having said that, since I've ridden 24" I've improved on my sidehops and gaps. But I never was particularly good on 26"
  6. What the f**k do you do to destroy cranks so often?
  7. Did you actually snap them? Or just waste the tapers? In fact have any Powerpro's lived long enough to snap?
  8. I had a Cockle-Doodle-Doo on my phone for an alarm. It was so annoying, you just HAD to get up and switch it off. Ideal
  9. These Nokia s60 phones are crap! My 3230 doesn't have a vibrate mode Putting it on eBay and getting something simpler.

    Big Pc Problem...

The jumper thing is instant, and it's a bit easier depending on where the battery is. Most sensible mobo manufacturers put the jumper somewhere near the edge of the board, but you can't always rely on that. Whereas leaving the battery out is a bit ambiguous - You might need to leave it out for a few seconds, or it might last all day without the battery in. So the jumper is better, but it's not even slightly relevant for this topic - if it's a BIOS problem it wouldn't have got as far as the windows screen. It's a Windows problem.

    Big Pc Problem...

That's Siders' answer to everything Does Safe Mode work? If not, just do what Sam said and get Knoppix/Ubuntu Live and run that. Burn all the important stuff to CD-R and reinstall Windows. Job es bueno. If that's all too much hard work, try booting to the XP CD, and then selecting repair windows or whatever, and then at the repair console type "chkdisk c:" sans the quotes. But I'm not convinced that will work either.
  13. Too expensive probably. I mean when Dan Ko (or whoever) subsidises a frame for one of his "sponsored riders", he is probably still making money off the frame, even if he sells it for £150 or something. Whereas you might actually have to pay some skanky-looking lady to thrust against your bike...
  14. If discs worked better than maguras, more people would use them. As it is, they (generally) don't have enough bite, you can bash them very easily and bend the rotor, and they snap frames.
  15. Yeah I know I was joking really. A front hub is a front hub, there's not much to choose between them. It has smoother bearings than my back King though
  16. I kind of agree with that, but I don't imagine that Deng has ever met Craig (Lee Scott) or Neil. But it's been a very good move for Deng, he must have sold hundreds (thousands?) of frames on the back of CLS. It's all about the videos
  17. I have a Hope Pro II on the front. I know that ain't the question, but I thought I would share that. So far it seems to be working very well as a front hub and it hasn't fallen to pieces after a couple of weeks, so I say it's all good
  18. Yeah, most of the sponsorship deals wouldn't really appeal to me. I wouldn't want to be limited to using one (possibly sub-par) component, even if it was free. Obviously if you're getting paid to ride, that's a bit different, but most of these deals are a bit rubbish.
  19. I would pay good money to see a 70" tap. You do realise that 70" = 5'10", which is probably taller than half the people on the forum...
  20. I'm guessing home-made dodgy-looking disc mount And 10mm rise (on the control) is better than nothing I suppose. Someone should do it with a Vinco

    Pc Or Mac?

That was made years ago before OS X (commonly known as the greatest operating system evar!!1§1) even came out. And the results ain't quite as one sided as you would have imagined, are they?
  22. I bet you another fiver it is just a link to some torrent website or some file sharing shit that you could get for free anyway
  23. Yeah I never heard of anyone using them for trials, seemed like a pretty good idea at the time, but no-one tried them.
