  1. Seen it before, but it's so awesome. Is there anything cooler than that backflip off the tree? I think not

    Msn Problems

Do other computers on the same network have problems with MSN? If so then you may need to unblock the ports that MSN uses in the router settings. Also turn off any software firewalls that may be running. I think it uses ports 6891-6901, just FYI
  3. You won't be able to connect to the internet, but you should be able to connect to the router 192.168.2.2. You have got a cable running from the PC's ethernet slot to (one of) the router's LAN port(s), right? And the router is switched on? Type that address and it ought to work. I'm not on MSN very often, if I have any free time tomorrow night I'll add you
  4. Yes. You know you can use the cable that connects your PC to the modem, to connect the PC to the router? It doesn't matter that it's then not plugged into the modem. So just do that and then go on the router setup, you can plug the internet back in when you get wireless signal. What router is it by the way?
  5. I can pretty much guarantee that your problem does not lie in your wireless connection. When I ping my router via my wireless, I have a response time of less than 2ms. Even if using ethernet was instant (it's not...) to the router, that's only the difference between a ping of 30 and a ping of 32ms. You can test it though, I guess there might be something wrong with your wireless. Start - run - type "cmd", press enter - type "ping 192.168.2.1" (i think we decided that was your router's IP?) and press enter. if it's any less than 5 or even 10, then it's not a problem. Does your connection ever drop and then reconnect? Does the little icon in the taskbar lose connection and then reconnect a couple of seconds after?
  6. Mmm, nice weather. Please tell me those pics were from last summer Cool snaps
  7. Yeah, so get an ethernet cable and plug that into the router (and the other end into the PC, obviously). Unless it's some funky wireless-only router, which would be weird. If that is that case I guess you'd have to manually reset it, there'll probably be a button to reset on there somewhere, you'll have to push it with a pin or something. Read the manual
  8. Yes, if you want to use a single speed tensioner. Or just stick to what you have and be more careful?
  9. The last one I built probably an hour, but that's because I wanted to try out my new disc ASAP. It's not very straight, but then again it doesn't really have to be The first one I built a while back I took ages over (I didn't have a bike to put it on) was much straighter, I probably spent 2-3hours on that, getting it right. At the end of the day a wheel's a wheel and if it's in one piece and fits through the forks, it's fine by me
  10. Use a cable to connect to the router and go back into the router settings and change it back to what it was Why were you changing channels again though, I thought you'd just got it working?
  11. Ok, so who is she? And why is she wearing knee-high boots when she's clearly on the beach because she's wearing a bikini...
  12. So you're sending her a card with a picture of her semi-naked on it? My girlfriend wouldn't be impressed by that, but perhaps yours will. Still, nice photoshopping.

    Ipod Videos.

Yeah. Or if you right-click the iPod icon in iTunes, you can "update" from there. Works on my Mac, anyway

    Ipod Videos.

Download Videora and convert whatever videos you want. Then add the videos to your iTunes library and sync the iPod. Ta da.
  15. I never thought Saladfingers was funny either...
  16. How are you getting on with the disc? Is it staying? Also, is it only the Hope caliper that fits on there, or do other ones fit too? Or is it a bit of a case of try-and-see?
  17. Well firstly do you have 5.1 output on your PC? Look on the back for the audio sockets. Secondly you'll need some speakers. I don't really know about this, but I think Creative do some fairly decent cheap-ish speakers for surround
  18. It depends, most modern PCs have 5.1 surround sound, so there will be 3 holes, one for front speakers, one for rear and one for front/sub. And then in addition to that, one for mic and line in as you said (so 5 altogether). But nothing will come out of the other jacks unless you've set it up for 5.1.
  19. I had a 2.7 Maxxis (in a Leeson 609) and it was way too big, it just folded really easily on the rhyno rim. I'm now got a Maxxis Swampthing 24x2.50 and it's great, much less foldage than the 2.7, but it's still not a small tyre by anyone's standards. So that's what I'd recommend. I had a White Dragon as a front tyre and it was pretty nice. A bit light for a rear for me, but you might get away with it if you like high pressures. And the 2.1 is pretty wide I guess, maybe a 2.25 or something by Maxxis standards.
  20. Plug them in the same ones your speakers are plugged into? Unplug the speakers first of course...
  21. If I was gonna ride 26" again I think I'd have a Zebdi. They're dirt cheap now and they're nice for street. That's if you can find one that's still in one piece though... I've not ridden a 26GHz though, they sound good too
  22. Yeah, well just make sure you get this DVD out sometime soon. P.S. What the hell happened to Nicky G's vid?
  23. Yeah, except wheels are usually slightly bigger than they say, so a 26" wheel is probably closer to 27" or something, which would make the rise 13.5"
