    Lower Prices

I don't see why they won't subsidise VAT on sports and exercise equipment, they've dropped nicotine patch VAT down to 5% in the latest budget.
  4. My chains almost new as it is, and i've got a surly cog kicking around that came with the bike, but the guy who originally owned it was using it with a 22 tooth ring :| so i temporarily stuck a 17tooth sprocket on the back to make life a bit easier. Anyway, just ordered a 20t hardcote with my new stem, cheers chaps.
  5. They're £15 on tartybikes the hardcote rings, for £3 over the regular i may aswell get it. Hmm, this 'newskool' jolly i seem to be going on is getting more and more expensive!
  6. I really want one of those stems in white but it won't go with my bike, i'll have to settle with black!
  7. I'm thinking of chucking this in the basket with my new stem later. Does look like a damn good watch.
  8. Cheers, i did think of that but i wan't to see how well things run before shelling out, but i may give that the finger and just spend the cash! Any other similar cheaper alternatives? (besides running a 20 tooth ring, but i'll probably do that for now, not much to lose ona £12 chainring really)
  9. I'm trying to change my riding style a bit, so a long stem and lower gear ratio are in order, found the stem i'm after, just need a chainring now. What chainring do you use and what size is it? And does anywhere sell an 18t ring that's not screw on? Or is the PCD of the crankbolts on a set or 'burns too large to accommodate a ring that small? Ta very much!
  10. The onzas 50mm aint it? I fitted the onza last night and due to the stack height and needing to remove the spacer is gained or lost nothing. Looks like £35's coming our way tarty!
  11. I wouldn't mind going, not been for a few years, any tickets left? Are TartyBikes having a stall there?

    Urgent!

Visas running out, you can argue forgetfulness (although who on earth forgets something like that?!) but dodgy passport stamps is clearly intentional.
  13. I wouldnt say ES have sold out, its pretty catchy and 'emo' was taking over the world as it was. It'd have been all too easy for them to sign a record deal with all the benefits handed straight over, and jsut play gigs and write/record but they didn't. Admittedly only probably ot make a point and get more publicity, but hell, who didnt dream of being a rockstar when they were a kid?
  14. ES are good enough guys, they're friendly and they work hard at what they do, i can tell you that much. ^^ was that printed? I wouldn't take it too seriously, it was probably a joke.
  15. Haha totally agree, they may aswell record Rory's bit with the synths and let him have some time off!

    Police Info

Riding on walls doesnt fall under any part of the highways act. You'll get done for something else instead.
  17. The last good new song they wrote was 'Ok, time for plan B' and they've even had a little bugger around with that.
  18. I was out shopping earlier as i had a day off work, and Enter Shikari came on whatever music channel was on TV at the time in the shop. Now i stopped following ES when their shows started filling up with 14 year old guys with pink hair who tried to look hard and threaten you when you get pushed into their bird who was standing in the middle of the pit, i know how big they've got as a few mates bands know them well, but what on earth have they done to 'anything can happen...'! Better production for sure, but it really kinda sucks now, that used to be a tuuuune! I was kinda shocked, they've totally veered off the course i last saw them heading on which is a bit of a shame, but whatever pays the bills i guess. BRING BACK THE GOOD OLD DAYS! On a side note, please don't turn this into a general ES slagging thread.
  19. Sods law. The only time CRC has taken two days to deliver something to me is these two days i've had off work. bloody typical!
  20. Cheers chaps, I'm trying my Onza stem out for a bit as thes a little higher and longer, may also play with using my Easton bars but not so sure about them really. Ad, I did spot that actually, pretty smart looking stem but never really heard anything about them. I'll check it out if the Onza's no improvement (which i'm assuming it won't be!) Cheers all.
  21. Im going to Reading, had my tickets since last year I just hope the lockup tents alright. But Brand New will be good to see out of the already announced.
  22. What a pants video, they've shown no real evidence, other than 'ooh no, in a matter of national security in which the security services are involved, they've not released any evidence' - well big f**king surprise. Theres no breaking news, no breaking facts, just a load of skepticism about new policies and 'Tony blair went on holiday before the security clampdown'. They also go rambling on about 'MI5 blah blah blah' while showing images of Vauxhall Cross - the MI6 HQ, err... Duh! Poor show IMO.
  23. That was sick, good stuff! Mixing flatland with fat drops, excellent!
  24. 90 seems a bit short by todays standards doesnt it? I was thinking a 110 or something?
  25. Ah right, looks like a bit too much adjustment for that though, but i guess accounting for the depth of rims aswell...
