  2. Looks lush mate, but it does look like you havent ridden it! Very nice though (Y)
  3. Ive set mine up using the instructions too, i bedded it in by general riding, lots of front wheel gaps. It now bites well sweet, it still cant be bedded in fully though because ive only had it working for about two hours!
  4. Hi, ive just got my avid mechanical front disk with 185mm rotor and xtr lever, with fibrax cable. I set it up just as the manual said to, and ive been for a little ride to bed it in. At first the performance was poor, but all of a sudden the pads began to bite really well and im quite happy with the performance. However, ive noticed that the pads are rubbing slightly on the side that moves in when you pull the brake. In the manual it says the locate the pads with the rotor in a 1/3 2/3 ratio. However i found the brake was better when the gap was even on either side. I was just wondering how everyone else sets their avids up? Do they go by the manual or is their any 'secrets' on how to set them up? I was just wondering because i dont want to ride with my brake if its set up badly...Any help would be very much appreciated (Y)
  5. Yep he deffo still rides, looks at some koxx days footage for some good clips of him, im sure he will bring a new vid out soon anyway (Y)
  6. That has to be one of the best videos ive seen in a long time. Amazing riding, good riders and good music. Top notch stuff (Y)
  7. I ran a KMC X8 chain for about 7 months without it snapping once, but ive moved on to a KMC kool now, much better (Y) In my opinion KMC chains are the best. :o
  8. Its amazing what people are doing with frames nowadays, they are really pushing trials design forward which is good in my opinion, even though some frames look sick (Y)
  9. I admit i dont wear a helmet all the time, but ive convinced myself that i will from now on. I usually pop my lid on when im going for something big but as tarty said, it can happen on things as normal as a curb. It really is worth being safe (Y)
  10. That is one sweet looking bike, diferent to most other pitbulls that ive seen too (Y)
  11. Looks quite nice mate, i like the bash :) I was going to run a front freewheel setup a while back because ive been through quite a few freehub bodies on my hope :"> , however i decided not to because it would cost too much and my hope is holding up for now. Does it work nicely then over a normal hub?
  12. Very old skool, im sure it rides lovely :)"

  22. I started on the old square tubed t-pro, which was identical to the t-mag, but was sold with different parts when bought as a full bike. I can safely say it was the worst bike i have ever had, nothing but problems. I then sold it to a friend who had it for two months then it snapped (Y) :)
  23. Someone i know used to run front and rear hope m4's on his orange zero, and they were amazing, powerful bite, lots of modulation but guess what? His disc mount couldnt hack it (Y)
  24. T-pros may be common, but thats because they are good bikes (Y)
