  1. I would recommend zoo bar and stem for lowering your front end and giving your bike a nicer feel, because of their shape. The onza carbon ones off tartybikes are sweet too and come in either 28" or 30" wide.
  2. The only thing that i could think youre doing wrong is hitting your wheel too low on the wall, this deadens the effect and can make you fly over your bars. Its all about where you hit your wheel, once you find the 'sweet spot' then you will honestly fly up the wall and will surprise yourself at how easy it is to get up walls using this technique.
  3. Looks mint, but the rotor doesnt look that big to me?
  4. He has skill, so controlled even on big moves, top vid :)
  5. I quite like that, ive seen people do that with trials frames before and they ride surprisingly well as a street bike.
  6. Cheers for the replys guys, looks like im going for the avid, i shall order it soon as possible! I do like the mono trial, but i cant really wait to save up for that as there is other stuff i need to get after the disc. Also my mate has a mono mini and ever since he has got it it has been total crap, doesnt have any bite and wont lock properly, so hes sending it back to hope :)
  7. Hi, i have about £90 to spend on a front disc, and i did want a hope mono trial, but it will take me ages to get the money for that, so my second choice would be an avid cable disc. I can get the brake and an xtr lever for about £90, however i am a bit concerned that it will be spongey due to being cable actuated. What should i do? save up and get the mono trial or go for the avid now? The point of this topic is to basically hear peoples opionions of the two brakes so i can decide what to do. I have seen other topics that people have mentioned avid discs and they say theyre good but are they as good as a hydraulic disc? Bearing in mind i would go for the front 185 with an xtr lever and probably a fibrax cable. Any help would be much appreciated :)
  8. Defo KMC kool, but i'd go for the 8 speed version as it has the same breaking load but you dont have to space out your mech...
  9. I really like that, very sweet :)
  10. Nice pictures, good riding. That wheel swap on the rail looks huge!
  11. Yeh grind your rim, makes your brake immense but dont expect to be able to manual anymore...
  12. That is very nice, but i feel that the back tyre spoils the look a little, if it was wider it would look a lot better i think, only a little pointless thing but apart from that it looks sweet :D
  13. Sounds like your front brake will be immense, didnt think magura discs were all that good but your setup sounds pretty mint, make sure you post a pic when its done!
  14. It just takes about a weeks practice trying it for a bit everyday, and you should have them dialled. Basically pedal or pull the bike straight up and keep your weight over the back wheel, shift your weight according to which way your falling, same with the brake.
  15. The 20 and 26" frames both look very nice indeed, im not one who usually likes 'different' frame designs but i really like thise two. Its good to see frames that arent just a copy of another companys work :D
  16. That looks really smart and professional, nice one :D
  17. The links on the homepage, a strange video that i wasnt too keen on, not my thing :D
  18. Nice video, some good riding in there, you shouldnt be so modest :D
  19. Most of those cars look sick, theres only a few that look half decent...
  20. I would download, but eengoedidee wont let me :P :D
  21. Nice site, some good pictures and videos, with a nice looking layout. That trials course you have looks well minted, lucky to have that to ride (Y)
  22. I would leave it as it is, it has a decent spec (Y)
  23. Cool vid, some good sidehops in there and decent editing too. (Y)
  24. Ive seen that vid before, some good riding in it, very techy. The song was terrible though (Y)
