I seriously cannot believe the poll results. As good as 50/50. Stuff like this needs to be discussed more often.

I think that you think doing the sitting lean wipe would result in shitty paper on the seat? If so, no it wouldn't, personally all my wiping is done below the level of the seat, maybe even blow the top of the bowl. Sometimes the back of my hand can hit the toilet water (rarely, but the USA is known for it's high toilet water level). If you stand up and turn 180, what happens if a stray piece of poo gets away from the paper? Or is that not an issue? I can't get over how there's such a difference in opinion on how to wipe.

Ali C has a GF? Congrats!

I'd rather it be on the seat than on the floor.

Monuments Men. Don't bother, most "Meh" movie I've watched. Very Dull. No real plot. All it had was a much of famous people.

I have the same face expression as my avatar when I hear about someone standing to wipe their arse. When you stand everything gets closed together... I mean you shouldn't shit standing!

1. I didn't say it's the best way, but it works pretty well. 2. But it does. The step after checking that would be to download something like coretemp and see if the voltage drops from full load to idle.

Rendering videos is a good way to test it under load. (Games not so much). To see how much load the cpu is under press ctrl+shift+esc and it'll tell you the cpu usage at the bottom (at least on Win 7 it does). Check that and also go to power options and make sure it's on 'balanced'. If it's on 'high performance' you cpu might not be dropping its voltage when in little use.

If you're at 61 at idle you don't want to be overlocking. You need to figure out why it's running so hot first. You didn't answer if it is 61 degrees at idle... if you think it is, double check your processes to make sure. EDIT Oh wait yeah you did. What do you mean by 'under load', what process are you putting it through for you to consider it under load?

Isn't "Gold certified" just an indication of efficiency and doesn't reflect on the quality at all? Just buy Corsair. Did you put the cooler onto the cpu yourself? If not, remove, clean the old thermal paste off and reapply some. Also do this if it's been a while. Are you sure it's idle? No background processes? Is it OC'ed?

I don't consider myself a super old school member. I still don't know why we don't talk about Chloe (if that was her name) because no one talks about her. But I certainly was a member through TF's glory days. Trials-shack and eenglegogoleeeeee for video hosting. Admin only validation system which was crazy considering there's only 2. Tartybikes was nothing more than a wheel building calculator with a email address. DJ was the only TF member who had passed. ACS Clause's were the only freewheel available and all the topics where we kept telling people to put locktite on the locking. RimJam pads and their disastrous end. Joe@carbonique (Was that right?) Pete Wright's many geniously comical moments... and THAT frame. Memoires. I really don't lurk much, if I come onto TF I'll usually find something to post about.

Seemed to work pretty good too. Although there was some "Not bought anything off him but he's me mate and he's great never mess anyone around" crap. The problem was that if someone had bad feedback it wouldn't be immediately known until they searched, with the feedback system we had after that it showed your rating number I think near your avatar. I remember many times people would get into a dispute with a seller and his feedback topic would have a bunch of negative posts within it.

This isn't quite on topic but I think someone who frequents this will know. Excell: I have two sheets. On the first sheet there is a list of random dates over the last 3 years with heights to the cells to the right. Simplest of speadsheets and easy to make a chart. However. on the other sheet there is the exact same thing for another child, however, the dates are random and don't match up with the dates on the previous sheet, but are over the same period of time. How do I make a chart where the x-axis combines the two columns of random dates so that I can plot two lines on one graph? Basically whichever list of dates I pick of the x-axis it works for that series but messes up the other.

I get them quite regularly, no demons or anything like that. I try and talk, but can only get out uuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr but I'm pretty sure I don't actually make a sound and the noise is just inside my head.

Wow that feels like a lifetime ago!

I miss playing MC. I'd be interested. Little Yoshi... This is a long shot, but did you used to play on a server where you used to build agricultural vehicles out of sandstone?

This is what you're paying for. Ohh baby.

So I'm kind of new to all this. After building my computer someone mentioned to me that I was missing a soundcard. Back then I was using a relatively cheap 2.1 speaker setup. I was skeptical so I ended up buying an ASUS Xonar DX used of ebay for what I was told was a good price. After installing it, I couldn't really tell the difference through the speakers. The only thing I could really notice was the absence of noise where it should be silence... which is kind of hard to explain. I needed a pair of headphones so I bought the well rated JVC HA-rx700, seemed like they were the best rated for under $80. I bought these after I installed the soundcard so I didn't really have the integrated audio to compare. Now that I built another PC for the living room (which I'm going to turn into a htpc) I realized that the sound on this is terrible, and really appreciated how much better the sound is with a dedicated sound card. So what I would ultimately like to do is install a decentish soundcard in the living room pc and connect that to a 2.1 speaker system for the TV. Polk bookshelf speakers and their 10" sub seem to be some of the best rated and I could probably get the 2.1 system for maybe about $170 I figure I'm going to need a receiver as I'll have two devices (tv & soundcard) using the speakers. So my questions are... Is my current setup on my pc (ASUS Xonar DX & the JCV headphones) a good match? Or is one bottle necking the other? Would it maybe a good idea to buy a better soundcard for my PC to use with the headphones and use the ASUS in the living room HTPC with the potential polk 2.1 setup? I use my pc and headphones so much more than I'll ever use the living room PC/TV which is maybe why I feel I should maybe upgrade? Or would that be a waste when I'm using relatively cheap headphones? What do receivers actually do? These things cost hundreds of dollars, what do they do other than allow multiple devices to connect to one? Pre-amps and amps? Necessary for my setup? Thanks!

I agree with the fresh install of windows. Not Linux.
