Over the last 3 weeks I've been getting about about half a dozen spam calls every day. I don't even answer my phone now unless a name shows up.

My powerline adapters worked great. As mentioned turning off the 5ghz won't do much. Certainly don't use 5ghz as they're not that great at going through walls. You could also consider a wireless USB adapter with some big antennas if she's sat at a desk. But I'd go for powerline adapters. Oh and another thing you could try is changing the 2.4ghz channel. Should be an option in the router. Unlikely to help but simple to try.

Just picked up a slim wheelset for my fatbike for $100 @ 75% off. This means I can pull the 4" wheels off and throw on these for the summer and use it as a gravel bike. It also means I can sell my flat bar road bike (which is way to small for me and needs upgrading) and get something new in the future.

Remember when it was a rule not to have obnoxious signatures and you'd always get that one new member who'd have a fullscreen picture of their bike in there? Hell, remember the old validation system? Seems like a lifetime ago.

I've lost track of what is going on with cards, last I remember they were inflated due to the crypto boom, and then dropped when that was over, then boomed again because of covid. I thought a lot of the 10 and 20 series cards were going to drop dramatically because of the cost to performance ratio of the 3060/3070? Is that not a thing that happened?

I made this mistake too. Was brought up being told credit cards are bad and you should never use them because you'll end up paying double for everything you buy on the etc etc etc. What people don't tell you is you can actually earn money from them, they're far more secure than using your debit card and you don't actually every have to pay fees or interest. Over the last 2 and a half years we've probably earned about around $1500 from using credit cards in rewards and bonuses, and the only fee I've ever paid was $4.95 and that could have been avoided. I actually have a credit score now, that is considered very good and my wife fluctuates between very good and excellent. We're also looking into buying a home, one that doesn't have wheels under it. But our income is too low for the bungalow that we would require. So we're sitting put and gonna save our asses off for a few years.

Yes, his death is being investigated. Pfizer says it has nothing to do WITH (this isn't 2003 we can type the full word) the vaccine because they're probably right. But like you said, it's been investigated and rightly so. I never said it shouldn't be investigated, that's just something you want to imply to fit your narrative. And yeah you claimed she knew 100% and are now saying she is not a doctor and doesn't know 100%... no shit? And to talk about the detailed hypothetical of my wife dying... what the f**k is actually wrong with you? Are you that intent on this idea being true that you have to resort to emotional blackmail to get your point across? My wife has come closer to dying that anyone who's reading this right now, 5% survival rate once her brain became infected. You think 1 in 10,000,000 shot of fatal vaccine reaction (that hasn't even been established yet) means anything to her? Can't wait to quote this in a couple of years when covid is basically history and we're all going about our daily lives like we did in 2019.

Turns out her brother and his girlfriend both got blocked too. Facebooks subreddit has a few people complaining about similar problems, I have no idea what's going on.

But the wife doesn't know that he died from the vaccine. It's as simple as that. She has no businesses claiming that she knows this 100%, that's just irresponsible. His death is being investigated. But yeah sure if the chance of death from this vaccine drops from 1 in 10,000,000 to 1 in 50,000 and suddenly becomes 200 times more deadly then yeah sure I'll reconsider, but that's unlikely given that it's been issued to millions of people already. My wife will be getting hers in the next few days.

Me and Staci have both been banned from facebook for 7 days for absolutely no reason. I don't really give a shit but now I can't send or receive messages on facebook messenger. When someone sends me a message it doesn't even say that I've been blocked, so I'm sure my Dad, who is keeping me up to date on my Granddad who's had a stroke is probably sending me messages on there like he has been and not noticing that I'm not getting them.

There's nothing here that shows the vaccine caused this. I'm not saying it absolutely didn't, but you're saying it was the vaccine with 100% certainty, basing that only on the fact that he got sick after taking the vaccine. Is it not even slightly possible that he just happened to have got sick with some rare unrelated illness after taking the vaccine? But even if the vaccine caused this, it would be something like a 1 in 10,000,000 reaction, maybe more. I think you're more likely to die in a car accident on the way to getting a vaccine than dying from the vaccine its self if this is the case.

...but not due to taking the vaccine as far as we know. When you're vaccinating millions of people, someone is going to die for a completely unrelated unknown illness. Seems obvious to me that it's more risky to actually leave yourself open to covid and it's unknown long term effects than the possible long term effects of a vaccine.

Haha. America. Although my shingles have pretty much cleared up I'm still expecting nerve pain in my ear and neck that doesn't seem to be getting any better since I got done with the pain pills. Postherpetic neuralgia is a thing that can happen after shingles so I'm basically hoping it'll just go away in the next few days and not stick around for months.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse. Just a couple of weeks left of this madness.

The whole idea of a big wedding baffles me. Obviously ours was very unorthodox, but looking back it was perfect for us at that time in our lives. The idea of having to figure all that stuff out, make sure it all runs smoothly, come up with the money and deal with all the family drama, as someone who's fairly introverted, it would have been a nightmare. My biggest regret was not hiring a professional photographer however.

I think what it boils down to is I'm far more trusting of our government. I pay my taxes so large groups of highly educated people can research this kind of thing so my dumb ass doesn't have to make those calls. Obviously your fiancée is educated in this area, but even still the idea that one person does one persons worth of research no matter how educated they are worries me. I also think we know enough about how vaccines work in general to know that it's very unlikely that there's going to be any significant long term health effects. And even if there were given that this vaccine is going to be given to an entire population these issues would be top priority, and then also, are they going to be worse than the long term health effects of covid? Did you plan on taking this medication daily, or just to treat yourself if you do get covid?

Isn't that a little contradictory? Not taking a vaccine, but ordering an unprescribed parasite drug by mail? What would be the plan with Ivermectin anyway, if you get covid take Ivermectin?

This is the biggest problem now, people just don't give a shit anymore. Out here we're seeing record cases. This might just be down to more testing, but people just act like nothing is happening. I work retail, so back when we had our initial state lockdown, you'd see people coming with masked and gloved, keeping distance, sanitizing in and out, insisting I don't touch any of their items etc. Now about 5 times a night people lick their fingers to count money and half aren't even wearing masks. I think we all have to brace ourselves for everyone having the same attitude over Christmas and New Years. I'd imagine the first half of January we're going to see a massive spike.
