Push the pistons back with an open end spanner.
Be carefully to push them evenly so they don't go on a slant they will get stuck if not pushed back carefully.
Rotors comparable with that brake and frame
Hope mono trial, hope trialzone, monty, jaf, echo, there are a few more. All it needs to be is 160mm and be the same depth for the brake surface to fit the brake pads.
I am not a top level rider. There's lots of rolling between rocks for senior sections.
Mods are better for static moves
Your right.
It's just nice to be able to just roll over to the next rock on your big wheel if your knackered half way through a section.
Rather than rolling and hopping to avoid small holes and rocks.
If your not going to compete then I would still be riding mod.
how are my maths off?
i am saying 6 weeks without walking sucks.
and 3-4 months to recover for normal people i am sure dan will be reovered by 2 months cus hes a northener
chips n gravy fix
I know nothing about broken bones, but Ben at l,a,c in congleton broke his heel about 4 months ago and is back on the bike after recovering.
I am sure you will be back to normal after 3-4 months.
Knowing u Dan you will be back on the bike in less than two months mate
Exactly what do you know. Disc brakes worse in the wet
the saints and trialzones are better in the wet.
As with most disc brakes, the water cleans the brake surface and makes them work better
Saints and trialzone brakes will only need 180 rotors
Anything else will need 203 rotors and some may still lack the power you get from the saints or trialzones
To clean I use electrical contact cleaner or isopropal. And water. Thinners or white sport will ruin your brake pads. If you have used it you will need new pads. No a amount of cleaning will clear the penetrating oil
Normal tyres will go tubeless but the side walls are very thin and will be subject to tears of rocks.
Back to my 1st recomendation that was ignored. Maxxis do the exo tyres, lighter cheaper and work on tubeless setups. But have stronger sidewalls for the purpose of Stans tubeless setups.
You know other frames don't have those but jaf frames do so just what is your point.
Can I chat about a frame. I was going to ask how stiff it felt without the braces in place ?
Will Ali and family biker please stop trolling anything jaf related.
