  1. no braces on the rear end. was this to be light as possible, is it using the lighter tubing ? like the hole in the heastube, makes me wanna get the grinder out
  2. i use a schwalbe mow joe, its ok i guess. i wish i had a try all or creepy crawler all the time
  3. http://www.cyclestore.co.uk/productDetails.asp?productID=53023&categoryID=1201 661 rhythm you hardly know there on. Do look crap though. But I would rather have my shins in one piece
  4. 661 do some that are like wearing leg warmers.
  5. The contact patch of the tyres is different so stock is easier to find the small rock or rail you intend to land on. One you have done it a few times on the stock your confidence makes it possible on the mod. 6. You could run long forks like 430mm and have a second wheel mount welded to thd front of the fork 30-40mm up the leg with two sets of disc mounts too. It would change the fork offset aswell Long and low for trial stuff. And then a high and short setup for street riding. I know you all think I am mental but this idea really could work for riders using streety setup frames with taller park fork setups.
  7. That multi dropout idea sound good too.
  8. Good point I didn't even think about the turning circle. I didn't realy mind them being a bit heavier. And ugly. Maybe if they used a steped forward crown so they can still get full lock.
  9. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/181040-dual-crown-trials-fork/?p=2499672#entry2499672 I say dual crowns should make a comeback
  10. It would be cheap manufacturing one set of crowns. And legs just cut down to fit your bike. I was thinking of something like use dh fork crowns then fabricate ti legs. Maybe I could get the weight below my current forks and have the extra adjustment.
  11. This is just a thought. If some one made a dual crown trial fork they could be adjusted higher or lower depending on riding style or riding enviroment. And you won't snap them, hopefully won't
  12. those old skool triple crown forks have given me an idea ?
  13. The hope hub would have fitted and they could fit a post mount brake on direct
  14. Ozonys with a hope pro 2 would have been better
  15. I know its a Koxx cloud with hope parts. Just shocked they went with ffw, I thought they would insist a hope trial hub on there
  16. Hope just put this up on there Twitter page, ffw ?
  17. He he. I havd just seem what points I got on sunday, it fully shows what happens when you don't pay attention to dates of trials, no practice the week before let me down. Who's up for some practice rides at the roaches and matlock quarry, I have a lot of work to do on confidence building. My technique was great I just buckled under the pressure of not remembering how rocks n mud ride.
  18. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/disc_brake_spares/hope_lever_piston_circlip/c110p11214.html Get the clip as well. You will need a 2mm Allen key to remove the push rod from the lever. And some small circlip pliers to fit the new washer and circlip. Problem solved If you aren't sure how to do the repair all you need is here http://www.hopetech.com/page.aspx?itemID=SPG144
  19. You need a new circlip to hold the piston in the brake sounds like it failing. Or missing
  20. Get a tensile 60 and degrease the grease out oil it and loctite the lock ring. Cheaper and relable. Mine skipped a little during bedding in, but now 1 year later it hasn't skipped for months. Having said that I think all the frerwheels on the market would be the same relable freewheel if setup right and bedded in carefully. There will always be a small amount of faulty freewheels out there thou so don't be supprised if you get a bad one. Some earlier tensile 96 freewheels had issues with the pawl locating pins snapping
  21. Come feed the birds Some one should offer £3 and put to feed the birds in the comment
  22. Cheers for putting up with the snow today guys n gals. I really enjoyed today and look forward to the next few to come.
