  1. narr, 2006 is a good year, I always see years that end with an even number as good years. 2001 did crap 2002 was tyketrial 20" champ 2003 did crap 2004 won loads of comps including every round of the british champs 2005 did crap 2006.....................
  2. I agree with both of you, its hard to say one person really.... I will say Steve at heatsink, who else has put so much time and effort into such simple things as a booster and pads, top guy
  3. I would be interested in somthing like this, deffo for comps as I have a comp only wheel and it would be ace not to have to worry aboutgriding before a comp (or even grind wearing down in a comp) If it worked then I would have a slighltly less harsh one for everyday use. always nice to have an option though, nice one

    Echo Bb's

my bb (or was it the tool?) came with a little round plate for taking the cranks off.
  8. that would be stealing now wouldnt it Anyway, as nice as it is, I just aint a fan of that style of tensioner and as I have said earlier I am getting a Rolhoff
  9. if your getting thorns, then 1stly get a decent tyre and secondly put liquid latex in your innertube, it instantly fixes thorn type punctures. But seeing though I have NEVER got a puncture from a thorn, I dont bother as the latex cant handle big holes like you get in snake bites
  10. most definatley the limey, no question!! better made, better geo, better looks brittish company!!
  11. no, dot isnt like water or de icer. Dot WILL swell your seals, might not be quick, but it will I can garentee it.
  12. he sent it me over msn, I could smell it a mile off
  13. glad to see you have gotten a stock, you wont regret it
  14. one last thing....are you american? if not, its tyre not tyer its just one of those things that hits a nerve
  15. if your riding deepish snow then your best bet is a mud specific tyre, one with long widly spaced knobbles. If your riding ice then you want a studded tyre, nokian make these but you can also make them yourself by screwing screws through your tyre. not really worth doing if we only really get a few days of snow a year, but if you ride wooden objects a ot, then I recken studded tyres would be ace, but really crap on rocks and metal.
  16. the main thing is it makes the brake feel 100% better, as for lubing the pistons....I have never had a problem, my maggie has had water in for 4 years, nothing has gone wrong with it once.
  17. course we do silly what else are we gonna put in them?....the proper fluid? lol, that would be stooopid
  18. stay at home and watch tv like I do every night
  19. braided hose is definatley worth it BUT I have found the only decent stuff to be maguras own. That also works on magura disks too.
  20. cool, cheers mike next question....anyone wanna sell me a copy of premire pro?
  21. I recken a few technological things will change. disks will get more refined, small thicker rotors will be used and calipers could be part of the frame. Also wheels will be one peice to get rid of spoke flex. Tubless tyres will become the norm. Different materials will be used such as carbon and thermo plastic. internal geard hubs that were tough and reliable will be used. some things wont change though, mods will still suck and everyone will get sick of me saying I hate mods.
