  2. Dave Marshall: the strongest + the nicest guy in the entire sport of biketrials. Mint vid dave, really impressed with the 26" riding, kind of surprised you didn't go to 26" sooner. You should definately mak at least an appearece at the comp on sunday. Havn't seen you since... Doney's i think? God that was ages ago... Nice one dave, keep 'em coming. Rich
  3. The driving there and back were the funniest/scariest bits of the day. Apart from McDonalds afterwards. That was just painful... (Y) Hope everyone can get together for another ride at some point, may even trek up to wheelers some day... Rich
  4. Matt was having a lot of difficulty sorting out insurance with the owners of the venues due to them worrying abou liability. However he has assured me its going to happen sometime this year, so we'll just have to wait and see. Rich
  5. Nice pics Rob. What no-one saw was the first time I tried that 180 gap and nailed myself into the stem... Was a damn good day, will definately be making the trip down again some time when its dryer. Rich
  6. Did Wayne say what time he'd be picking you up James? I've been ringing wheelers house phone all day to try and find out whats happening but no-ones answering... :) Will try him again later. Rich
  7. Should be getting a lift now with Waynio, Wheeler and Knobalot. If Wheeler ever picks up his damn phone that is... See y'all tomorrow (hopefully). Rich
  8. Is he not in Bristol anymore? I assumed he'd have to drive right past taunton on his way down... (Y) Ain't got a car no more matt, and sweet bugger all money to boot. Will have to talk to ross nicely... Rich
  9. Fancy stopping by in Taunton to pick up little old me? (Y) Otherwise I'm stuck... Rich
  10. Add me to MSN: karsonlevoret@hotmail.com I can sort you out with the TRA vids plus the koxx tease one, and I've got most of the zoo vids aswell. (Y) Rich
  11. Personally I swear by the avids, but you can't fit one into a kot without some serious bodging. I louises a while back and they were the f**king buisness, Increadible hold and modulation. As has also been said, make sure you're wheelbuild is a lot stronger than ususal, try and find some kind of dishless hub like the profile, or if you want to wait, hopes Pro II will be out soon in a SS setup which also be completely dishless. Rich
  12. Could be tempted by this, as I've never ridden plymouth. James, have just spoken to Wheeler. Was saying something about riding oxford monday, so... ^_^ Proabably see you all down there, havn't seen the Barny lot in agggggeeeessss. Rich
  13. someones been waiting to show that off... :ermm: Very cool though. How many sittings did it take? Luke, if you think you want to get it done, see if you can get it done in Henna which will last for about a week, then see if you feel comfortable with it and how other people react to it. Remember, it will be with you for the rest of your life, so make it something original (even though Aarons is very cool...). Oh, and post a pic of it when/if you decide to get it done. :$ Rich
  14. Avids are wierd Mark, they sort of have two stages of bedding in. For the first few days they're absolute shite, then after bedding in (muddy water, brake scrub, etc) they get super grabby, as in locks harder than any magura. After about a month they should start to lose just enough of that bite and get the modulation back. As for the lever pull length, you really just need to play around with the barrell adjusters on the lever and the red adjusters on the caliper until you get it how you like it. But a decent set of cables (nothing flash, I'm running well maintained deore cables and jackets) and a good lever (XTR, XT, not nuts over the avids, but meh...) are two very good starting points. Hope that helps. Rich
  15. How do you figure that one out? Rich
  16. If you have your feet more square on the pedals and try and shift your weight to the right more, you could definately go bigger. Very sool stuff. Rich
  17. f**king hell Caisso's good... Amazing riding all round, nice one. (N) Rich
  18. Nothing really, just that your were riding BMX and 24" all the time now. Probably an exaggeration by someone, meh... Coming to the next Hampshire comp? Rich
  19. A little more variety wouldn't hurt, but unbelievable riding indeed. Glad to see the ankels not too restricting. And that gap at Castle Park in bristol... f**king hell... Nice one Rich
  20. Looks very nice! Clive was going to do mine something close to that kind of height, but we coldn't fit the disc on... (Y) Very cool ride though. Isn't there supposed to be a Jack Barnes video comin out at some point? Rich
  21. Fantastic... Having fallen in water a few times due to trials, (and by the sound of things, cleaner water...) you have my fullest sympathy. Also good to hear you're still on the trials bike! Nice one fred. (Y) Rich
  22. tv.isg.si linkage... Thanks for the tutorial James, got it sorted now. :P Rich
  23. Nice mike nice. You were going silly in bristol the other day, glad to see the vid came out alright. Keep it up. :P Rich
  24. A fair bit, it helps that I have a really good build, but me and clive are talking about something a bit more radical. Watch this space... Have I? At the risk of sounding unbelieveable rude, who are you? :- Glad you'll liked the video, just got a load of new footage yesterday, so full vid should be out soon. (Y) Rich
