Woodman T-pro 26" What Are They Like?
Rich Pearson replied to Urpedigreechumdog's topic in Trials Chat
Very low BB from what I remember, but apart from that, quite nice. Rich -
Some real nice pics there mike, hope you don't mind but I just had to have the last one for my desktop. The one of the dog is good too. Hope to see some more stuff soon. :D Rich

Echo video 15, andrewtvincenttwo, kd-lo, get3large, evolve, manifesto and organ donors. All just inspirational riding. I also like SWTCBoom alot, but only because its one of mine (Y) . Porters bringing out some sick stuff aswell, looks like the future can only hold good things. :D Rich

Looks good, easy to navigate, kermit the frog inspired colour scheme. Looks nice. Is Yao Zhi not on the team anymore or is it just Craig and Neil? Plus, how do you get onto Neils site? Is it not finished yet? Nice on Craig Rich

I've no problem with constructive criticism, pointing out to people genuine errors they may have made be it reccomending a service or taking photos, I just don't like to see someone's IQ being judged by their age. This would be an example of constructive criticism, an open minded view on a discussion point. What I was annoyed about was Dan simply having a go at someone apparently for the sake of it. I'm sorry if I've annoyed everyone or if people think I'm wrong and maybe on some points I was. But just saying somone doesn't know what they're talking about because of how old they are is not only narrow-minded its unnecessary. Dan: I got angry and all, maybe I was right, maybe I was wrong; you had a point of view, my only beef was that there are nicer ways of putting your views across which still convey the same message. That man talks funny... ;) Looks good, always enjoyed AndyT's stuff, will edit when downloaded. Rich EDIT: Most enjoyable of the UCI worlds vids I've seen yet, especially liked the names for the riders and the way Benito Ros stopped where he was walking to make sure he didn't get in the way of the cameras. Sound. :D

I apologise, I think I spoke too rashley earlier, allow me to rephrase; What kind of narrow-minded, arrogant b*****d of a willy are you? Do you honestly believe that Siders at 15 or me at 18 have got so much less experience of the world than you do? You believe that there is that much of a differnce in the nine years or so that seperates us in age? I don't want to make this into something big or personal and the last thing I want to do is get this guys thread closed because of unnecessary bitching, but I'm going to anyway. You want to be a twat, fine, you can throw your knowledge around, you can show everyone what a big boy you are by patronising kids nearly a decade younger than you; what a grown up you are. The guy said Adam builds the best wheels ever; Thats like saying CLS is the best trials rider in the world or saying Subway make the best sandwidges, its personal opinion and a casually thrown comment, however you decided to have a go at him over it and and stamp your authority on the subject. My mum always used to say 'if you've got nothing nice (read; constructive) to say, don't say anything at all.' If you'd care to explain to me exactly what the point of ridiculing this guy over his opinion of Tarty was then I'll be glad to hear it. As for 15 year old wheel builders: That sentence states than anyone aged 15 knows little about anything, and as this is a subject about wheel building you must have found it relevant to post it in here. Interesting when you then go on to say: followed by: I'm so done with this, just get a life, go away and come back when you have something constructive to give to this forum, like siders77 or anyone else who just put up one post to try and point someone in the right direction. Nice pics there. Is that Ben Rowlands back on a trials bike? If it is then its good to see him back in the game. ;) Liking the shots of Jon, just seemed to stand out from the others. :D Rich

What kind of a willy are you? I'm sorry, but one, the guys made one comment about Adams ability to build wheels, who, by the way, is regarded as one of the best wheelbuilders there is, and two, a fifteen year old built both my wheels. I run front and rear avid discs with 203 and 185 rotors, and they ain't broken yet. Just because you're old enough to be his dad, doesn't mean you can talk down to him as though you are. Mesa, Adam at Tartybikes is worth talking to if you want the best for your wheels, also maybe try someone like Clive Leeson (07966529057), has something like twenty years experience of building wheels, both he and Adam are really sound guys who will be happy to help. Rich

Just had a look on there and was wondering whats the difference between red, gold and green? Also, for uber power, 203 rotor and caliper, standard avid pads and XTR lever. Will have the same stopping effect as a sixty year old oak tree :D Rich

There was once this weirdo called Dali, used to paint the craziest f**king things ever, which people have never made any sense of. He's also regarded by many as one of the greatest artists of all time... (N)" I like it br3n, its differnt but it works. Looking forward to see whats next. Rich

The Canadian James Porter... Sick riding man, keep it up. Rich

Some really, really nice park riding there, beautiful chill out video, really well filmed. Erm, I just havn't seen a video as good as that in ages... :'( Nice one :D Rich

Try going for a serious ride, and then when you get back in, you need to freeze your knees somehow; pack them with ice or get in a freezing bath, anything to really cool them. A lot of top atheletes like Paula Radclife finish an event and then get in a bath filled with ice and water. I don't know what extremes you would be comfortable going to, but I found it really helped with my ankles which are severaly damaged. Your other best bet is of course, take yourself to a physio and see if they can give you some advice. Also the cod liver aust suggested can really help. Rich

Second that... That place looks awesome, will have to get down that way some time. Nice vid, keep them coming. (N) Rich

CRC are the most legit shop there is, so I'll have to go with the majority on this one and say its a problem with the couriers. Get in touch and ask them which posties they're using. (Y) Rich

Start by first trying to go to backwheel (from a sidehop) on a lowish wall. I find this really helps as you get more of a feeling for the kind of way you have to move your body to clear a bar/rail/dogleash. Also, try going over something that'll move out of the way if you hit it (like a long stick balanced on two stacks of bricks), this should help give you the confidence and also an understanding of what you may or may not be doing wrong. (Y) Rich

In unofficial terms, TRA has the highest sidehop over a bar on a stock (129cm) and the highest sidehop onto an object to two wheels (about 54.5 inches i think), although both CLS and Benito Ros have come very close if not equal (I think at the bikeshow Craig hit 53"). Biggest static gap is probably a close contest between TRA and Tunni, although I think TRA has it. i think on the monty website they have all the 'official' records, so have a look on there. <_< Rich

Glad to see tunni's getting back into it. Nice pics. :P Rich

WAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAthestupidfrenchmanfelloffAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... I think I seriously just cracked a rib laughing at that one... :- :S Rich

I would definately use some of Rob's if I were you, he's got some absolutely amazing ones. Rich

I was trying to sidehop onto the arm and then front wheel to the table, but couldn't make it. One thing I am gutted about is that whilst I was just pissing about without the camera I gapped fron one arm of the sofa to the other (about 7 foot). I didn't try it again as I almost removed the light fitting with my head on the way past... And my mum doesn't know, and never will. :- Rich
