If you really have made some frames but dont want to show incase someone copies it, why dont you just show a part of it that would prove it is a different frame to the others out there, but not giving away any design characteristics? Plus, why dont you just shove the wheel in your frame and dish it so the brakes can be set up, and go ride (Y)

What about a zoo mod stem? Very strong, light, cheap enough, and will look the part

Both of my rimjam blues went in the same way as the one in the first pic. Hopefully the new ones will be a lot better thought, they sound good from what I have heard (Y)

Id reccomend using it, unless there is very little space inbetween your cogs. I have broken 3 KMCs when i rode stock and wasnt using split links- this may well have been just bad luck, or from the join where you put the chain together using a chain tool being slightly weaker than the rest, like JIX said. Since Ive been running a KMC with a split link on singlespeed I have had no problems whatsoever- best chain I have ever used by far!

Nyar, is this true that even the hope ones break a fair bit? Was this one of the old Enduro ones or the newer XC ones? Caleb was telling me the other day that apparently the XC ones are better. I was hoping to not spend too much, I know kings can be had for around £60 on ebay, but it still seems a fair bit

I run shin pads and find it has made me much more confident while riding with them- it doesnt hurt at all when you get shinned, and I sometimes think people who dont use them are crazy! It can hurt soooooo much and make you want to stop a ride early if you get shinned bad, but when riding with my Lizard Skins on I can ride a bit harder without worrying, and when I do get shinned (not that Id be able to feel if I did or not), it doesnt hurt in the slightest at all. Does make your shins sweaty+smelly in the summer though

Hey mark, out of interest what length chainstays are you running, and what bar height? Cheers, Scott

So you think it'll probably break? It has a weird system I think, according to the description, which is what makes it so light perhaps, but I didnt really understand it as I know nothing about headsets. Is it really worth saving up for a Hope or King? Cheers for all the replies  Scott

Hi, my new zona frames just came through the post and looks sweet, but I need a new headset for it- I was considering this, as I want to save a few grams wherever I can while building up my new spec: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/American-Classic-Ahe...1QQcmdZViewItem Which I believe ways something like 77grams for the 1 1/8 inch version. Do you think it would stand up to trials? I have never broken a headset before, but dont see how I could break a headset, unless the bearings went? Does this look like it should be ok? Cheers, Scott

Isnt the Tibo the one with 4 bolt mounts? May well just be me getting mixed up and being a 'tard.
-
But what I meant is that if you look at the pictures here: http://www.supercycles.co.uk/zonazip.asp You can see the frame has very long dropouts- quite a bit longer than most mods

Ive ordered mine, sounds like a great frame from what Ive heard- very good geometry (that can be adjusted by means of changing your chain length to give a variety of chainstay lengths), very strong frame, and very cheap, but just VERY crap stickers/decals! Cant wait to get mine and ride it

Cool, downloading now. Better be as good as ur last vids! You really do make it look very easy. Smoooooooth riding, even in comp sections :)

For those wondering how much it "costs" to get your rim ground, most of us on here do it ourselves, so it is free once you have bought an angle grinder (if you dont already have one in your garage, the ones for around £15 are perfect- you can get them even cheaper if you look around! Mine cost £15 for a 750W one with two diamond cutting blades). Im not sure bike shops would be happy grinding your rims harshly, but some may be fine with it. Hope that helps, Scott

Thats what I was about to say- the new zoo fork looks very nice, like a fatty R but with CNC'd areas. Looks very nicely designed
-
You look like youve improved a lot since your last video. Really good riiding, and sweet sidehops :P
-
When you say worn out, do u mean properly balding? My creepy crawlers have lost their origional all-powerful grip, but still fine, after loooooaaaads of riding, e.g. 8 months or something I'd guess. Im pretty sure 90% of my wear has been down to me doing constant spins anyway (which they are not suited to!).
-
It depends. Think about it- one way, with the force "pulling the wheel back" to stop it through the structure of the disk, reduces brake judder and is therefore smoother- some people prefer this way, and some disk companies advise this way. However, the other way, with the brake "pushing" the wheel backwards to stop trough the structure of the disk, is more juddery, but perhaps could possibly be a tiny bit more effective in trials if you want a brake that purely locks with less modulation. In the end it doesnt matter too much either way, its down to preference.

19 lbs :P But Im getting a zona frame soon to replace my current monty 221 frame as its cracked. I think I will prefer the ride, but the weight will go up a bit!
-
.... the Gu stock frame costing one squillion dollars. If you look at deng's other makes, e.g. echo and zoo, their mod frames seem to be priced similar to their stock counterparts (like the python and pitbull for example). So from that Id assume its £400 or so, upto the £460 or however much the stock frame is!!
-
Is that CAD pic real or not? Where did you get it from? And if it is real, what make it supposed to be coming from?
-
I had one, great bikes. Light, strong, and now cheap to get hold of for a very high quality frame. I found they are great to gap too :D
-
Very nice looking little site, though Id try to make sure you sort out those spelling mistakes to make it look that bit more proffessional. (Y) Other than that, looks quite proffessional IMO.

Worst riding i have ever seen in my life. Yours sincerely, El cuntos

Zebdi all the way! Those things are great fun to ride, and can be found fairly easily.
