Hi all, Just wanted some opinions on my almost finished freeride bike. Been getting it to a spec I like for ages now and it's beggining to look good :P" Anyway here's a few pics Side view Front view Rear view, that's where most riders are looking if they're riding with me :D :P" And finally the cockpit :S Spec: Kona Coiler Dee-Lux frame (Vanilla RC shock) Marzocchi Z1 Freeride forks Cane Creek S2 headset XT hubs with X321 rear rim and X317 front rim XT 4 pot disc brakes (immenseness) XT shifters XT Hollowtech 2 cranks LX front and rear mechs IRD seatpost WTB Power V saddle Kona Stem Azonic Doublewall risers Lizard skinz grips Panaracer Fire DH front and XC rear tyres Things I'm looking to change/upgrade in the future is the front wheel, rear hub and I want some nice Maxxis High Rollers on there (Y)

Really enjoyable vid (Y) Variety of lines was excellent and that Coust is looking absolutely gorgeous :-"
-
Would be cool with a purple bike. And what hub is that? Looks like the red hope one I have (no idea what that is either) :">

Unless you have Chai's rather nice Python copy :S" Nice bike, what made you get a Yao Zhi and not a CLS, height? Or just personal preference.

Can someone shack it now >_<
-
Thanks guys, I took them out and checked them as closely as I could without having to remove the headset race. Went for a little ride earlier and can't feel anything other than the brake being a bitch on the rim fold and grabs every revolution (probably won't help if there *is* a crack) Oh and thanks for that info DW I'll keep an eye on that area. >_<

Earlier tonight I had a great ride in town and on the way back I decided to have a go at a large gap I've been thinking of for a while. I sprinted down the hill towards it began to run out of gears so absolutely pedaled my arse off to get that extra little bit of speed then tryed to bunny hop but didn't get the lift I needed. This resulted in what must have been the funniest face I have pulled in a long while as I flew towards a kerb at top speed. I landed front wheel into the kerb but luckily I'd reacted fast enough to throw my weight back and just twatted it really hard and the bike bounced up. There's a massive fold in the front rim which I've managed to hammer back in without taking the tyre off or anything so I've just got to sort out the inward fold to get that back to normal. But my main concern is that the forks strength may have been seriously compromised from the impact. They are pace trials forks and I think I've heard people talking about them snapping a little easily and that it has a bonded steerer. Anyway I was just wandering what people thought about it as I'm not that experienced with trials parts (only been riding 6-7 months) and their life time/strenght.

Why can some people still get iiiiitttttt?!?!?!?!?!?! (Y) Is there a secret link? (Y)
-
Erm you asked for people's opinions Dan, and they're giving them (Y)
-
Should of got some green J!Z on there Dan, silver looks kinda cheap on camera, will have to check it out in the flesh though, see if it looks better/worse :)" But like someone said earlier, looked so much nicer with the Echo stuff on :)
-
Sounds just about right, we did it in chemistry the other day (Y)" After that see if you can get a tube to fit in the saddle clamp, that should help.
-
Loads of them have the radiators outside (Y)
-
TiNi *coated* cog you mean. :P Does look nice but what's the price going to be and will that coating stay on after a month of wear and tear :P
-
No the sticky out bit from the ends of the BB yoke area.
-
If you look at 0:26 it looks to me like he's grinded off that sticky out bit on the Python frames. Anyway lush riding, absolutely awesome location and nice camera work. On that last drop how the hell did he not fall over in agony, that's gotta be a nutcracker stem job :("

Pads: V!Z Magura pads Time used: 3 months Rim used: Echo drilled Mod/Stock: Stock Grind: Yep Brake used: 05 Magura on 4 bolt mounts (Echo) with no booster Review: Took ver little bedding in before they started working nicely. Straight away they were giving good bite and reasonable hold. The best thing about these pads is that they have given reliable performance throughout their long life, even on worn out grinds covered in crap they give an acceptable performance level. I've been pleased with these pads but next I'm going to go for ZOO! pads :(

Fuel and meth' cars do NOT run nitrous. They're too close to blowing up already (most end up doing so over the weekend anyway :S" ) (Sorry I know too much about these cars :"> ) Plus if they did run it it'd be putting up a lot more power than 10bhp, that's nova boy power LOL. £500 doesn't sound too far off for a basic system though but you'll find most of the serious classes running it will have spent a lot more than that on a system.
-
Perhaps he means hurtz? My clan has dual 3.2ghz proccesors :( :) :)"
-
These cars run NO nitrous oxide, superchargers or turbochargers yet are still able to run in the low 6s. Now that is pretty damn impressive for a car with "proper" doors. You sure there's no fuel funny cars or methanol dragsters? :(
-
That's not really a reason not to buy one. If it was as good/better than an Armourdillo I'm pretty sure you'd buy this one for a lower price.
-
Government piggy-banks really. All this isn't the Police's fault, they simply carry out what the twats in Parliament decide needs to be doing, which is, in recent years, rape motorist for every f**king penny they can get their hands on.

Something That Has Been Bugging Me For A While...
Shaun H replied to Urpedigreechumdog's topic in Chit Chat
Back to new members for him :P" (Y) But what about the others, what do they mean *exactly*? -
Sounds good. If you've got an all black lever then I think you may have the standard lever rather than the one with the mag blade, NOT sure though. Do you remember exactly what you got on the pads, if it was general oil and stuff then that boiling tip could be just what I need for my b*****d rear disc on the freeride bike.

Awwww, I was waiting to use that in the New Members chat
