  1. I'm thinking of engineering atm. In my 6th form interview I was told that the subjects I had chosen were near enough perfect for it. We then got talking about University and he was saying how if you go to one of the major cities you can actually get paid to do your course by companies, as much as £30k a year (Y) . Not bad for a student :)"
  2. www.cadbury.com appears to be invincible (Y)
  3. MSN is used internationally so that wouldn't work really :P" Anyway will you all stop complaining about a FREEEEEEEE service being shut down for an hour or so in order that you all don't get some horrible virus off some twat who works in a comic book store and masturbates over superwoman whilst designing a bug that makes your computers explode.
  4. Nice video, riding was mahoosive, filming was, imo, poor in places although I can understand it may have been hard in that situation and the editing brought everything together nicely. Good job
  5. A little bit but the main thing is steel doesn't require heat treatment after welding. I think some steels actually gain strength when welded.
  6. I HAD to ride after that
  7. Eeenpoopie's bein slow (Y) Will edit once I've seen it though

    Koxx Products

Old news I'm afraid (Y)" But it does look rather tasty, can't remember wether they're availabe to buy though
  9. Riders are doing their job then :P" Can't wait for the whole vid, may make everything else seem rather poor in comparison though (Y)
  10. May have been on slicks when it did that. I doubt it'd do 0-60 in 1.9 with 800hp and treads anyway. Also it says 1.97 seconds so on the table it should be 2 not 1.9 >_< Seems to have a very low powerband too looking at max torque and power, very strange for a turbo-charged engine.
  11. All the top ones aren't road legal though unlike this BAD BOY 0-60 in under 2 seconds (no exact figure....yet) in full street legalnessssss (treaded tyres, pump fuel etc) might have to steal it off my dad when I learn to drive (N) EDIT: That'll be a top fueler such as this Even better when there's a load of cars parked nearby and all there alarms go off when it launches on the line. Always seems to be a random car with the "step away from the car" thingy as well. They blow up a bit easily though kaboom! :ermm:
  12. There's an old school pair of proflex linkage forks in my shed somewhere. I think they're fooked though (Y) And no doubt the elasomer shock's perished.

    Kazaa

    Limewireness!!!!!!!!!! Get it now (Y)
  14. I'm up for it :turned: I run it on a 2ghz, 512mb RAM, Geforce 4 mx 128mb machine so it's not really that bad. That's down to the amazingness of Source though, I expect with these new FPSs in development my computer will die a quick death when i try to play lol.
  15. I'm pretty sure the distance between tabs is 50mm :turned: Someone like Tart will probably know for sure though.
  16. How do you reload (N)
  17. That's a bit vague. Have you *actually* ridden them properly yet? or at all come to that?
  18. More gears, better chain tension, better gear changes, gear changes whilst rolling and protection from the elements. But it weighs a ton despite being full of titanium. It's ridden by Greg Minaar who's a top class Australian downhiller (tenth in the world or something).
  19. Fancy a race? :( 8.67 @ 168mph 1/4 mile and that was with the smaller engine :) , my dad's taken it over America atm though for the World Street Race WSR site wish I could go :)
  20. Gar-aaage is American really. I say gar-idge cos it's faster lol. Not sure on the scone thing though, I'm never sure which one to say.
  21. Doing trials or did you do the hill method? If you bedded it in with trials it might not be even and that's why it's slipping. Can't hurt to try can it :(

    My New Ride :o

Lookin sweet, what's the wheelbase and bb rise?
  23. I always thought that F1 cars used ceramic discs which I'm 100% sure glow when braking, not sure on carbon fibre ones though. Found this That looks like the aircraft grade of CF though, otherwise you'd see the pretty weave." I reckon the disc'd be ok though, carbon fibres pretty strong stuff but I wouldn't think it'd last long
  24. I put that up because I've tried braided hosing on DH bikes, XC bikes and on Adam's HS33 and they all aren't as solid a feel as plastic (IMO!!!!). Plus Adam said your ones with the goodridge hosing were like sponges but I suppose he coulda been taking the piss. The less you spend the shitter they're going to be and I wouldn't like to bodge motorbike hoses on, if they're standard size they'll be mahoosive. I didn't say braided hosing was "overpriced" just that they were expensive in comparison to plastic hosing which could well work better for trials use anyway.
