  1. I don't know how to change the key functions in firefox but i'm gonna go out on a limb and say that i reckon the reason why it worked on your mouse like that on your desktop is because you had it set up to do that in your mouse configuration settings rather than in firefox, i know my mouse has a couple of button either side which i've set to go back and forwards through webpages and i can change the function of the scrollwheel as well. Have a look in the control panel in XP and try changing the cursor set up in there. I reckon, depending on how hard you googled for it, if you didnt find anything, it can't really be done.
  2. f**kin ey, thats awesome news. Back about and riding again hopefully soon then.
  3. Thats one of the mountsorrel crew with the red forked onza. I think all of those mod riders will have been from sorrel today. If your in loughborough mon-fri and fancy riding give send me a text, i go uni there so can ride after uni 07708801632
  4. I know someone (boumsong) with a blue heatsink booster, he wants a silver heatsink booster. Maybe swap, fits your colour scheme Nice ride though
  5. The only thing remotely similar is that for both of them you have to click the username then reset/change the password.
  6. First things, shut up you egotisitcal twat. This isn't the place for an attitude like that so pack it in before you get warned/suspended/banned. Okay theres a couple of things i meant to say that in my haste to go to the cinema i forgot to put in. First being that i meant theres no difference to the people IN THE CAR, relative to this situation where it was only them involved there is no difference between them being on a track or on a country road. I know there's risks to other people and i hate people who drive like twats. And the second thing i missed is that my friend is ACTUALLY a rally driver, its what he does so he definately knows what he's doing, and the local country road i was on about is a private one... one that we have permission off the landowner to use as theres never anyone on it (not even pedestrians/dog walkers), meaning no risk to others but ourselves. I don't agree with dangerous driving in public zones in the slightest and will refuse to travel with anyone who doesn't drive sensibly. I in no way encourage bad driving. Despite any way you interpreted what i said there was no need in the slightest for that rude, foul-mouthed and utterly innappropriate way of talking to someone, especially in a best wishes/condolences thread. Grow up.

    Booze Tax

10-20p! thats f**king rediculous, its just the government trying to make excuses for raking in more money for doing shit-all. England is an alcohol loving country, everybody drinks at some point and theres so many people in so many bars at weekends, that extra 10-20p isn't gonna be enough to put anyone off drinking yet combine it all together over everyone who buys a drink in every bar in england and you've got yourself an absolute shit load of 20p's. I f**king hate all this political crap, they want more money. Plain and simple. Our country is run by what has to be the sneakiest bunch of political wankers ever, "ooh we'll put the 50mph lights on on motorways today despite motorways being clear so everyone ignores them drives as usual and we fine them all for speeding." "Lets put the price of fags up", "we're a bit skint, our jaccuzi's have no bubbles, we'll put 10-20p extra tax on drinks so we can build 5 new luxury health spars and get a new jag E-Type each".

    Booze Tax

Ha ha, rich is one of those people thats gonna be a mardy old b*****d when he's 70 that tells kids to stop riding their bmx's in the flowers (thats what its called round here if you hop on a wall with your mountain bike sized wheels), no offence rich, just tryin to point it out now so you have time to change... you entitled to your opinion but your not fully grasping what its going to do. The UK, as already mentioned, has some of if not THE highest taxes on alcohol in europe. And the british are already labelled as being the worst binge drinkers around. Why would you say that is? I mean, spains legal age is 18 but people of around 16 can be served and go to clubs with hardly anyone caring at all. Why do they not have as many binge drinking tendancies as us? Because if i'm correct (i read this somewhere) that being a roudy drunk in spain issues you with a £200-400 fine, thats english pounds not spanish currency. It can even give you up to 6 months in jail. I would say having tougher laws in england for roudy piss heads is a much better suggestion.
  9. Shit, thats bad, hope he makes it. To whoever said if people wanna race they should do it at a track day, its all very well saying that but theres nothing different on a track than on a road like that, theres still walls, and always the possibility of something impaling through you should you crash. I have a friend who rally drives down this local country road as well, i always feel relaxed and calm with him though, he is a shit hot rally driver though. I think everybody should cut the driver some slack, yeah he shouldn't have done it and it was a stupid thing to do but saying he "should get his just deserts" isn't helpfull... he's already done something thats 100 times worse than anything the law can send his way, he's seriuosly injured one of his friends. The driver will feel guilty as hell for injuring his mate, i can't imagine what he must be going through. Hope it all ends up okay
  10. Desmond seems to have a handy little gift now, was the lightening going to hit claire and charlie's roof but desmonds device stopped it or is he just trying to prove he's all knowing?
  11. I don't think its the fact their not zoo stickers, i think its more to do with the fact they look cheap and tacky. PLus that font is extremely gash, they are only stickers after all, nothing a bit of duck tape wont hide
  12. If you want it that smooth and shiny get some wet and dry sandpaper, probably around G400 (i think thats it, its deffo got 400 on the back), from wilko's. Take the tyre off and sit there for ages lightly sanding the rim until the surface is completely shiny and smooth, to do this you'll need to sand it, wet it a bit, sand it, wet it a bit and so on till its all the same. Then either: 1. maybe use some brasso on it to make it really shiny instantly... after doing so use washing up liquid and hot water on the rim to get the brasso resiude off, then dry with a clean cloth and go ride it and enjoy a nice smooth shiny surface. Or 2. Go out and ride the sanded sidewalls, dragging the brake a fair bit and it'll evenutally polish itself up nicely, use mr sheen or something for extra shiny effect and to clean any leftover sanded metal dust from pads and rim.
  13. All of this intelligence and yet you fail to call yourself a simple beta tester, bit weird that. I get what it is and everything, my old IT tutor used to do it before he went into teaching IT. For anyone that doesn't quite understand pete's ramblings it means he's one of several hundred people who test a specific component in his individually set up machine. The purpose of this is for the companies to check that their component works with many different hardware configurations with more ease than having several hundred differently configured machines in their labs, they can send a single component out to each beta tester and get feedback from them on how it performs. Effectively reducing testing time and company efficiency, well i say reducing time... there might not be much time saved after some poor sod has slowly to read through pete's jumbled chaotic grasp of the english language in his feedback. And whats with this graphics card having 768mb onboard RAM ? Since when has a computer related product been released to the public with an odd amount of RAM on it? GFX Cards run from 128mb doubling size each time to 1024mb of ram... meaning 128, 256, 512, 1024. Having a 768mb card would surely be impractical as it would mean the RAM chips wouldn't be paired for optimum efficiency, the data would lag slightly from the smaller capacity'd chip. The company just wouldn't do it. And more on topic, sounds like you've gotten caught being a tit... at least take responsibility for it, especially if you made a sensible post under the "cock" username, had it deleted, then reposted asking the same question using your normal username... can't really deny it was you
  14. My train eventually turned up, got away without paying for a ticket and it broke down 3 times Damn trains.
  15. Nah, thats not sketchyness... its making do with something long after it should have been replaced... i do the same with mine
  16. Didn't particularly like it, there were too many dark clips that it was hard to make things out on and the amount of bails included in that video made you look like a sketchy/dodgy rider... something i know your not. Dunno what you do to your video's but they always freeze my media player when i try and play them
  17. They look as though they could be alright, depending on the geometry and what they're kitted up with compnents-wise they should be pretty good (what i'd imagine to be entry level) bikes. A shed load better than the T10 anyday. Just make sure they don't go down the same route as saracen with the stupid components, like keeping rear mechs to cheap sora/tiagra jobbies instead of the SRAM X-O like saracen put on their frames. Just make sure the main components are alright and it should be great. A reliable rear wheel/freehub (hope XC or similar) or fixed rear wheel and a front freewheel are what i'd imagine would be the best money/reliability ratio'd components for it. Any rough sort of ideas on price and things, and any more information about geometry and so forth?
  18. I would like to know for sure as well, i would be rather annoyed if i got there and wasn't allowed in after travelling there especially to ride THOSE rocks. Especially now i'm getting a bit more into natural riding.
  19. My pc did the same thing with far cry when i first got the pc, turned out the graphics card couldn't handle it. You sure the pc meets the requirements list?
  20. 07708801632, try and get hold of me during the day at some point, if i'm not busy doing uni work i'll answer straight away, or txt you back within a couple of minutes. What time you planning on meeting? As i finish uni at around 4.00, then i'll get a train from luvbura to leicester so i'll be in around 4.30-5.00
  21. You can doubt it as much as you want but its true. It was a volkswagen polo in that crappy metallic red (pink really) colour.
  22. Dunno if its the same but it cost my mate something like £30 to get a new rear bumper, get it sprayed and get it fitted after his was crashed into. It was hit hard enough to stop the boot from opening properly as well, i wouldn't imagine it'll be any more than £50-70.
  23. 26" again, i dont get along with kiddie starter bikes
  24. Sorry i don't like it one bit... i don't know why so can't really tell you, but that is for some reason truly aweful
  25. Nothing wrong with that wheel that 10 minutes, a spoke key and some clever use of your foot applying pressure to the rim wouldn't fix. Believe me, i fixed a mates front rim that was in a condition like that and he's still running it... doesn't even rub on the pads anymore
