  1. oh my god! No one buy an ashton, their shit! :$ :$ That is a heffer of a crack, what sort of size dropgap was it on.
  2. f**k off! If you have the choice to ride brum or loughborough, go to brum everytime.
  3. And they dont squeal like a pig they honk like a friggin freight cruiser. Nice bite, firm hold and loud as a car horn, these pads are little beauty's.
  4. Mirrored aviators'll do it. But seriously, without seeing we can't really say can we. But generally takes longer than you've got, unless your being a wimp and just have a slight brown bruise as opposed to full on purple swelling.
  5. To be fair it isn't a high rise stem at all, i'd still class that as a low rise stem personally (anything under 30=low IMO) there is a large amount of spacers but i have about the same myself, i couldn't go back to using a lower bar position now, in fact... i'm thinking of going from my 110mm 7 degree rise stem to a 130mm 20 degree rise and losing the spacers.
  6. He's right, GAME specifically ask you when you buy pc games if your sure your pc will run the game as they wont refund it if it doesn't. Gamestation are the same now as well and i think pc world have been doing it for sometime now. Its too easy to buy a game, install it, download a crack and return it saying it doesnt work while you now have the installed files sat on your hard drive. The companies know this hence the no returns on pc games. You'd be much more successfull if you said you bought it as a present for someone for a birthday/christmas but someone else has bought it for them as well, and that you want to get a refund to buy them a different present. This never fails and the store almost always give you your refund with no further questions asked.
  7. Yeah but you all forget this is pete we're on about. Anything he says is gospel. He tells people who aren't on here his other job is a "pri trials rider"... by which i'm guessing he meant pro.

    Bars

Eastons have some oversized bars, not sure on lengths/geometry/price... but i'd have a look on chainreactioncycles and then on ebay.
  9. Did you take that picture with your phone . Have a look on the hope website for a manual/exploded diagram maybe?

    Ribo Casas.

Do they come in size UK 15?
  11. let me guess, you've got either onboard graphics or an fx5200/ATI equivalent.
  12. Thats one of the stupidist things i've ever heard. Both places have enough to warrant full days rides, riding one for a short amount of time then the other just seems pointless and a waste of money. Getting people from notts to come to loughborough for a few hours wont happen. I reckon you should just make your damn mind up and ride one place or the other.
  13. Looks smart, not sure on the green mounts though... they look kind of out of place. I think the big question is, which do you prefer? Mods or stocks? Is there anything you find easier/harder with each type being at such a high level of riding and all that?
  14. I don't reckon they'd do much, however there was a lad at my old college who got busted with one and had a court hearing and all sorts, last i heard he ended up with a fine and everyone taking the piss out of him for a few weeks. If your lucky, you shouldn't have a problem. If your not lucky, it might be a fine. The fake passport is definately bad though, if you got busted with that it'd be taken very seriously indeed.
  15. He's still 16, unless he's bulked up like arnie/van damne he aint gonna win. Thats pro riders super strength muscle build against little kids weight lifting muscle.

    Locking Qr's

Tranz-x made a seat that had a 5 sided allen key tool that came with the skewers, came with both wheels and seat clamp skewers and cost around £7.00 new for the whole set. I bought some off ebay for my mate for christmas for £3 with like £2 shipping. Ebay all the way!
  17. Had a good days riding, first time i took the camera out with me so no pro-quality pictures here, just had a mess about really. Heres a link to one of them photo slideshow things, makes viewing the images a bit more pleasant and the rest are thumbnails underneath. Link to slideshow
  18. Yeha, there was an obvious improvement in the way you controlled the bike, however the thing i mean is still quite apparant. Is it a frame youve not had long? I guess when you get more used to the bike it will dissappear.
  19. You're like 16, he'd own your ass in an arm wrestle. Everyone knows people are shit at arm wrestles till your 18 and have actually started puberty. Nice pics, i want sky like that round here.
  20. The new brakes are in the new issue of mbuk if that helps
  21. This wasn't an argument, i was informing you your riding style is wrong for the bike you have and you should adopt a better, more suited technique... if you can't take constructive criticism don't post up videos on here.
  22. Nah man, you obviously don't get what i mean. You don't suit the high bb bike, it looks sketchy and your technique looks wrong on it, kind of like your trying to ride a level bb bike only whilst not being on one.
  23. I meant wednesdays for natural, not leicester
  24. Isn't that just plain old tonsilitis (sp?) In which case you can have them removed, then get to eat lots of ice cream
