Press F8 before the windows XP loading screen (the black screen with the laoding bar and XP logo), this'll bring up a black screen with white writing and 4 different options, choose start in SAFE MODE and it'll boot up with only bare minimum settings and some giant ass screen resolution. No programs or files will be run when windows starts so you can effectively use your antivirus software like you normally would and the virus won't have a chance to change itself or hide somewhere the antivirus wont find it. Reboot when your done, the pc will boot up normally like it always does and the nasty should be gone.

If my dads macs are anything to go by i wouldnt touch them with a bargepole. Its a user friendly system sure enough, until it shits the bed and decides you can't do something that ordinarily should be possible, for example it sometimes like to not display the object dock bit, and when it does it'll sometimes not let you open things up using it. The programs available to it are older versions of whats available to the pc, and it seems less competant at everyday tasks like burning cd's and editing pictures using photoshop than my pc is.. my pc is hardly cutting edge technology either with it being about 19 months old now and not being cutting edge when i bought it.

He rolled a 1/2 foot drop gap How long has he been riding out of curiosity? Near 4-6 months? Take some tar out with you and stick a little bit on your rim to imporve the brake, last thing you wanna do is loop out on a wall because your balance looks a bit off. Try keeping the front end a bit higher, this will reduce how you seem to fall down when your landing things, maybe try a different stem to change your body position. With the wheel switch/pigeon lean forwards more and get your head right next to the front tyre, if you see some of the coust vids their heads sometimes go lower than the front tyre and they can do this move flawlessly Try preloading more for gaps as well, really squat down just before jumping and use this extra distance from the bars to pull on them harder forcing you forwards faster and further... improving your gapping distance. The rest will come with practise. The actual video was alright, no fancy editing and it goes well with the non fancy riding (not meant in a harsh way). Simple and Cheerful. EDIT: Sorry after reading that back it seems like i've aimed the advice at you, its not meant to be directed at you get your mate to read it and it'll sound alright to him

I would also like to know, the Try-All rotors look absolutely amazing

Okay i'll go to loughborough Leicesters a shit load better though -
I clicked the link but nothing happened, how do i tell if i have it? Does it flood your screen with msn windows that it automatically opens and chats the link at people? My norton definaitions are out of date too because i'm too stingy to pay for it EDIT: Just found out you can update your norton virus definitions using the "intelligent installer" from their site... 12mb download and it installs the new definitions for me, not really that intelligent if it cant realise my subscriptions expired

Is it media player 11? If it is right click on the bar choose: view>enhancements> colour chooser. This will let you choose what colour the edges are and if you want it all black you just whack the saturation bar all the way to the left.

Your just a big fat wimp who can't type to save his life.... that first bit really didnt make much sense I'm down with the whole "just ride it off" approach to injuries, bear the brief pain and be amazed at how the adrenaline will block out any wimpy pain.

Despite him not abiding to the new members rules, this guy actually sounds quite intelligent... I reckon if you made a couple of helpful posts about how to help someone fix something (with step by step instructions and pictures for extra brownie points) or something like that, you'd be a member in no time at all. Maybe try one of the toxsin slug pad things for the t-rex frame, its like a gel/neoprene pad with a sticky side for attaching to the top tube of your frame. May i ask why you want a seat on your rex anyway?
-
To be fair i dont think you cutting the seatposts down to a ridiculous height really helped matters, like you did on this one. On none of those bases did you run a seatpost either, so if your a heffer of a rider with no support in the seat tube i'm not suprised they didnt last.
-
Ha ha sorry, cheers for the plazzies, just need a new rim now and i'll be a happy bunny using them.

Your damn gormless thats what you are, illegal tv show sales, not looking at the rules of the forum and i wouldnt be suprised if your soon to be blocked and banned from the site for spamming and trying to rip people off.

You know it. Chocolate digestives - Just got to the bottom of a brand new pack in about 3-4 minutes. Ice creams are definately addictive... Anything with chocolate really.

Ha ha, i doubt i'll be doing anything like bingo either, stupid tuesday at cognito sounds alright though... but theres no way i'm going to the breakdancing thing
-
Leeson? Revell? Iolo? Fresh Products? DDG Shooter? Saracen MAD? They're the only seated frames i can think of at the minute.

New bases are £169 i think, but a very good condition second hand one should set you back around £70 posted with and FSA headset and FSA ISIS bottom bracket. It would obviously come with the bashplate and would come with seat, seatpost and seat clamp too.

I found the best way to learn how to bunnyhop abubaca properly was to go out and try my hardest to get up a wall. When i found the height that i can do comfortably and usually everytime i moved round to a different wall about 3-6 inches higher, if your using pallets whack another two onto your pile. Then i Kept at it using the same technique as before only really physically trying to bunnyhop as hard as i could, most of the time i would slip to bash but there were several occasions i could get onto it okay. Keep at it pushing yourself like this and within a few hours-a few days depending on how fast you progress with moves you should be doing double height in no time. Key points to a bunnyhop, the higher it is the faster you go and earlier you take off. Try to really throw the bike up at the wall. Physically jumping up with your legs will help you too. I could usually bunnyhop about 42" on my base and now i have my rex i can do just over bar height so around 40".

If its a dome-topped bolt then get an angle grinder or good dremmel bit and file/grind the top of the bolt off, undo all the other bolts and take the disc off, grab the remaining stump of bolt with some mole grips and undo it that way. If its a nice hope style bolt with big tall sides then get a grinder/dremmel again and file two flat sides onto the bolt on opposite sides of the bolt, then, clamp with mole grips and your bolt will come out. Very easy, should take about 3-10 minutes depending on how competant you are and has worked every time for me and friends. EDIT: The two flat sides idea is essentially the same as Iolo's only without using a vice

I moved from a base TA26 to a T-Rex frame with smart guy forksetc and i have to say i love it to bits, if your short it might be a bit uncontrolable but with me being 6'5" its easily bunnyhoppable and manualable... i can even 180 and tyre tap the thing. Strong bikes too
-
Ha ha, you fag. Get a proper axle in it now, or try and land things smoother
-
Thats a nice bike indeed, very different to the uk's silver and multi coloured schemes the majority have. I had a look at that video on there too, i like what you tried to do with it and the editing was good, just if you do a video three try and get more variety in it. And try to put some normal speed clips in, the slo-mo on everything made you look more rigid and less flowy than i'm guessing you really are. I liked the mood the video set though, very chilled and relaxed. I like the site as well, being an art student i quite like the messy sketch-like style of the site and i think it works very well. Good Job

Theres a pair on ebay EDIT: My bad, they've ended already.
