  1. My server thing didnt really work and then i ended up reformatting the machine it was on. It wont be sorted anytime within the next week or so because i can't be arsed to set it all up again. We'll just join a decent server somewhere and post the IP on here before we do. EDIT: I have XFIRE too, my name on there is krisboats... sounds familiar hey lol
  2. Yep i do, the steam friends thing seems to be working as well so if you want to be added to my friends list then leave you email address that you used to create your steam account and you steam account name here. My e-mail address was krisboats@hotmail.com and my steam name is krisboats
  3. Would everyone please stop suggesting to use white spirits to clean a rim, as has been said many times before by many different people its an oil based substance and it leaves an oily residue on your rims afterwards. For once pete was right when he said use warm water and washing up liquid, then rinse the rim completely to get all the washing up liquid off.
  4. Probably best left alone
  5. I personally think the most impressive thing i've seen a freerunner do is grab hold of a lampost and suspend him self at 90 degrees to the post, fully stretched out and with only his hands touching it. The running round stuff gets a bit boring after a while, same way we've seen riders do gaps millions of times.
  6. If you read the replies you'd notice that i brought it back up because i was interested in finding out how peoples views have changed. Things like that interest me for some reason, i like the use of hindsight. Like people not wanting to put SMS functionality on mobiles because they thought nobody would use it, and the way IBM didnt buy out microsoft because they thought it would be a worthless investment (in the early days they could have bought it for something like 6 million, now its net income is f**king hundreds of times more than that) I wondered if your views would be swayed prawny, but howcome exactly wouldnt you want a wider rim. If the new 07 echo rim turns out as strong as people are saying it should be why wouldnt you want a rider rim?
  7. Ha ha, we sure will. We'll let you pick the location for the beasty natural
  8. Trying to help people out, its not like you can talk..... you post in every god damn thing for no reason at all and your posts are always shite http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....s&highlite=the only time you ever post anything half constructive is when your trying to sell something or in a references thread. So don't tell me about posting for no reason you jealous little child
  9. I love your front hook style, its so smooth. Its almost as if you cruise up to the wall give it a brief hug then stamp on its head, i love it. Your front gaps are immense too, so fast and precise I think you suited your toxsin better though
  10. Take a quick detour past loughborough on your way back to leicester I think we're all still going tomorrow, at least me and boumsong should be still. If the weather gets any worse i'll post on here early on to let you know its off. I'll probably give you a ring in the morning noz, got no credit to txt at the minute... it wont be too early just in case you had a rave up at the Gina-G thing tonight EDIT: If you do end up heading down to jolly old loughborough tomorrow todge can you bring one of your fancy levers along for me please? I'll bring some extra cash with me for you.
  11. Yeah great weather You are seeing this arent you?
  12. Your mod bike should have 116mm dopouts if i'm not mistaken 110mm axle length, then 3mm each side for snail cams..... 165mm is bigger than most DH bikes with super wide rear triangles. Another debate on the matter
  13. And what about when you gap? The freehub is enaged and what is it pressing against?.... the hub shell. So with a wider wheel diameter its going to be harder to turn the wheel round (the larger rim will act as a bigger resistive lever against the freehub) so all the force will be applied into turning the right hand side of the wheel more than the left due to the freehub being on this side so the right hand side of the hub has more force put on it and is then twisted with more force than its designed to, resulting in a seperation of the right hand side of the hub from the left via a split all the way along the base of the flange on the right hand centre of the hub. Theres also the chainline to think about, wont it be quite out if your using a bmx single speed hub? EDIT: If you dont get how i mean it to have broken here's the topic and the pictures of it http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....&hl=profile
  14. lmao, sorry guys :$ You should really be more observant, just because i'm interested in how times change. Especially seeing as prawny said theres no need for anything wider than a d521
  15. On the edge of a drop.... stand on the rear wheel, double crankflip, while the cranks spinning do a can-can, then as your bringing you foot back to the pedal X-Up out of the move 180 bunnyhop onto an obstacle like a single rock/2 foot wide wall, land on the rear wheel, do a backwards wheelswitch (flick from being on the back wheel on top of rock/wall to being on the front wheel where the back one was) then hop out of it fakie for a second or two the 180 out of the fakie.
  16. Dude... they have silver ones We dont need them but people buy them anyway, its their choice if deng can sell them fair play let him sell them, its hardly as if it affects you, unless your gonna tell us you store all the anodised parts deng produces before they're distributed around the uk because your uncle owns the dockyard their imported to and that deng wants them kept safe in some miraculous storage bunker thats under your house and thats protected with lasers, trip mines and stand-alone automated machine gun turrets.... or some shit like that. They look a little impractical to be fair, I would rather have dengs nice round edged clamps than some random custom pointed-edged ones that i'll have a decent chance of bashing my ankle bone on at some point.
  17. Wouldnt there be a greater amount of force put on what really isnt a 135mm hub? So if it was bodged then the force would be put against what isnt a solid and uniform axle, but something thats built up fo different, not entirely secure parts? I think todge broke a profile when he ran it on his echo... might be wrong though, i've definately seen someones profile that was used on a stock and the driveside flange was ripped from the rest of the hubshell.
  18. Just out of curiosity what rim do you have now prawn?
  19. Anyone reckon these guys would have liked the new echo rims back then? My how things change
  20. If he's real lucky he'll earn more money and pay it back quicker... or even better yet, he could win the money and pay it back straight away Its the only plan thats also taken into account him getting laid
  21. Option 4 Stay at college, live with grandparents briefly, pull a girl at college (any girl will do)... move in with her for a bit till you've got your place at uni sorted, go live in halls and get it payed for temporarily by the government. When you have your degree you'll be able to pay the loans back and earn enough to get your own place. ^ Definately the best option
  22. If its anything like the disc hubs i've got that wont work... the axle is in the way . I'm pretty sure most other hubs axles are in the way too.
