  1. If your just going to shoot down anyone who disagrees with your idea, your getting it done for free and you begin acting up against the people who are putting in valid contributions then what is the need for this thread? Clearly your minds made up and your not having to pay for it so why even ask?
  2. But with a cable rear disc you have the longest cable out of any possible brake. All that extra cable introduces more stretch and ultimately a spongier lever/less power I've never seen a half decent performing rear cable disc even with a full size rotor.
  3. I'd beg to differ, i'm currently at around 17 stone and mine holds me well enough on the edges of things. The power is plenty, the initial bite and wheel flex is slightly unusual though.
  4. After using am 8" disc on my jump bike with contaminated pads and a bad bleed I've found its stopping force is quite sufficient for trials. Back when it was new it was amazingly good at biting and holding. It does seem slightly slower though, so for pure response time alone a rim brake usually wins as its a fairly important factor in trials. The disc is quieter which is nice and it works very well in the rain. That aside i never usually ride in the rain so its somewhat of a non issue. After pad replacements, levers, hoses and what not the disc brake has worked out a lot cheaper so if your using it for a long time its a sound investment. I reckon i'd be quite happy using a rear disc on a trials bike if i was into comps every sunday in any weather on some really varied and unyielding terrain, for a street ride every now and again though a rim brake is my choice due to a faster full lock time and more locked feel whilst on the rear wheel (spoke flex with a disc feels "wobbly").
  5. I thought about turning up to say hello ealier but decided against it. Bunny sounds like a bit of a laugh tomorrow, but i'm at work until half 12.
  6. Samsung t260. Pretty nice i have to say. Cheers again guys. Last night was funny, and i felt pretty rough today
  7. Ha ha, cheers guys. Just have to wait till 6pm now for my parents to give me my shiny new computer monitor Then lots of drinking tonight, ooh yeah.
  8. Please sort out the standards of your posts. That's the sort of thing I'd expect to see from a pregnant 13 year old chavistic girl on MSN (yes, that's what i do in my spare time :$ )
  9. Auto-Mod For Sale/Wanted topics are no longer allowed in New Members Chat. If you wish to post a For Sale/Wanted topic on Trials-Forum you need to read and follow this - http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....ounce&f=13&id=3 Topic Closed.
  10. Its called baiting or trolling and writing posts in order to get an inflamed reaction is a warn'able offence. You've made your view clear, don't keep antagonising people. Looking close with the hops though Jack. Have you looked to see if anyone else has pulled one off yet, and if not... have you thought about a name for the move?
  11. To be fair though, i don't recall any arguments or bullying going on around me while i was at school and able to wear my own clothes. The amount of kids you'd think would wear the coolest clothes usually wore standard no-name stuff and nobody cared. Yet at primary and secondary school where uniforms were a must people got bullied because of the shoes they wore
  12. I'm absolutely fine with this weekend, next weekend i might be a bit drunk/hungover though as its my birthday on friday 13th. Mind you i'll probably only come to eat some food and run around like an idiot so i guess it won't affect my riding anyway.
  13. Actually looking back through the topic lewis started off the hostility. Which pogo returned. Then a couple people reported this thread because of the insults being thrown around. Yeah, new members chat isn't specifically defined as being for anything in particular. It's a broad spectrum topic because they don't hare the ability to post anywhere else. So yes, a riding topic does belong here. Trouble is, a couple of people are being tits, yourself included. And so I can only suggest you take your own advice and leave this be and let it continue as a ride thread instead of all of you spitting your dummies at each other.
  14. Not cool Pogo, not cool at all. Have some time off and try and come back a bit calmer.
  15. My chain on my trials bike is just over a year old and the chain on my jump bike is nearly 3 The jump one took a grinder to split it though, so its pretty good
  16. Check out your messages in a separate window and read one. When you send the message the page is refreshed and the inbox displays one less. Not a good basis to go on i'm afraid. But you can manage that by browsing back through your pages to get the print screen you forgot to take before sending it. The information in the email should still be retrieved so the time would be after. If your after faults at least pick them because theres no way of doing it other than to fake it.
  17. I need to make use of the button otherwise its just a waste
  18. How did you know of my hulk'ish ways?
  19. Yeah, the boiler was set up to be running 24/7 and the only methods of room temperature controls were on the radiators. Seems the boiler itself has been going on full since we moved in and was only changed when the house got repossessed and the new company sent their gas man round. Seems we should have had a thermostat linked directly to the boiler as well. But they didn't do that bit. Its an old boiler as well
