  1. Can't you store it until funds are available? Seems an awful shame to sell such a lovely car
  2. Photo, spec and price can't hurt I guess...
  3. I would have been tempted Matt, annoyingly we are thinking of buying a house so any big things like that are out of the window Can I have a play on your Reverb when we do a TF Cannock ride Tom?
  4. I'm so tempted to buy one, I have the money for an RSP/Zoom one but could potentially afford a Reverb when i'm next paid. Decisions!
  5. Use photobucket. MR2 looks pretty cool in that colour, always had a soft spot for those
  6. Surprised it didn't fail on looks too That scirocco colour could work if the wheels weren't all black, and if the exhaust tips were tucked up a bit, they sit too low and look odd
  7. I want a 30.9 dropper post that is 400mm long and drops 125mm. Is there anything cheaper than a Reverb that's worth considering? I begrudge paying that much but I guess it'll be worth it? Any issues with going secondhand?
  8. How dare you suggest such a thing...
  9. Best off avoiding those people anyway, general rule of thumb is they are willies.
  10. When I did Jury duty the witnesses weren't up for that long (manslaughter case) about 1 hour overall but then I don't know how long they had been there between hearings. I guess it depends how much involvement you had and the severity of it all.
  11. Saab is sold, I feel a little bit sad but my bank account doesn't
  12. Sure, It's sitting in Suffolk though so you would need to transport it/get an MOT and tax to drive it home
  13. Got a friend coming to look at my Saab this weekend, fingers crossed he buys it and then i'm out of my student overdraft thingy and can start tarting up my car.
  14. RST did a mechanical disc brake caliper which operated both pads about 15 years ago I think it was this one, but I'm struggling to find info out and cba to put much effort in At the time it was a dead powerful brake but let down by uber heavyness and being a very close cost to hydraulic brakes although it did include a hub in the cost!
  15. The bottle looks like it's floating in zero gravity when in slow motion
  16. If only fitting a turbo was as easy as bolting it on and making an exhaust!
  17. I think it was more because you pretend to be an expert on a job you seemingly haven't done before. Handing back the 530GT next week and I'll get glad to see it go. It is a lovely car if you just want to go from A to B in comfort. I'm looking forward to getting the Porsche out again
  18. Sucks about the cracks, is it going to worth even getting it welded?
  19. I've seen a few minutes of it and it made me want to hurt the people in it.
  20. That sucks dude, did you still have to pay full whack?
  21. Ah I see! Your van can't be as rusty as either of mine, they are actual sieves
  22. Don't you work for a body shop? Surely rust shouldn't be an issue to sort! Bulb warning light can be down to low resistance suggesting huge bulbs on its way out, have you cleaned up all the contacts and earth points?
  23. That was the reply I had in mind! Certainly a difficult one to argue with
  24. I spoke to his daughter tonight, she was apologetic but didn't seem interested in paying towards all the cleaning stuff (not like I used loads but that isn't the point) or even asking her dad to. I now have good reason to 'accidentally' make a mess of his car, seems fair enough
  25. I'd happily leave them if needs be, just some paint flaked off the arch at the centre, rest is fine! Paint is satin black, was going to do it the same again. Decals can sit ready for you to apply if you like (old ones are already off). I'll service them anyway, just so i'm 100% happy they are ok (only done about 100 miles since last service so should be perfect inside still!) I work in Stapenhill, but live in Nottingham so if you aren't far then it's no worry
