  1. QUOTE(Merlin man @ Mar 21 2006, 04:41 PM) Out of interest, where do you find these hitmen..... *cough* pm me *cough* five grand *cough*
  2. paint the mask in by hand you girl - easy for me to say - I have a wacom
  3. ashton has a silly steep headangle doesn't it? it'd feel long but ride short - if you get me..
  4. It's only dodgy if you deal with a dodgy b*****d. They're only a money transfer company - making sure you don't get ripped by somebody outside their control off isn't their problem - if you get me..
  5. assume the worst then try to ignore it ? i'd find out how old it is, do some maths and then panic only when necessary.
  6. cheap freewheels are shite. search for the eno threads. theres lots of arguments about which is better etc. i got an eno.
  7. Julien's going to be pleased. The title of TF grandad moves on
  8. try-all stem is quite low isn't it? - the old 25.4mm clamp one definitely is. I'd recommend a t-master stem with zoo bars because thats what I have and I like them. If you're not short of money I'd say get zoo forks rather the echo easy - they've got cnc bits where the legs join the steerer like the echo teams but they're £20 cheaper. Not sure if you can get them with 4bolt mounts though.
  9. That was excellent. Do it again with better lighting.
  10. haah! like fook I smell a nigerian
  11. definitely shinpads. I love my shinpads, my shins love my shinpads also. . On the shoe front - go for bmx shoes rather than skate shoes as the soles tend to be bendier and grippier - also they aren't 8 inches across at the ankle so they catch on your maggie / seatstays less. I tried really big pins on pedals for a while but I ended up going through a pair of shoes every 3 months - even with tk-max and its collection of last years bmx shoes for £30 a pair down the road it got quite expensive.
  12. for the love of god don't put zoo stickers on a zona. anybody who gives a toss will know it isn't a real python and will laugh at you.
  13. not the sort of thing you want to be admitting in a public forum really. but yeah - nice and sunny in cambs too

    Having 2 Jobs

student = P38 = no tax happy days. It wasn't till last year I started earning more after tax than the last job I had while still a student.
  15. i think i remember seeing somebody who'd cut some onza tensioners down to fit a gu - that'd sort you out failing that, get some smooth snailcams. the steel ones from tarty seem to be pretty sound, i've been running them for a month or two with no problems and it gets you round the notch problem.
  16. are you absolutely sure about that? I trust you with my bike but I'm not sure I'd trust me with it - if you get me..
  17. noo - get zoo ones. they look nicer and since you arent paying you might as well opt for something a bit beefier than the bendy echos
  18. it's not my fault i've got mincy little girl wrists
  19. that's a phenomenal memory Olly i lost mine at art college.
  20. The clue's in the name. You can arrange the zoos so they hurt your wrists just like a pair of flats.

You'll be wanting to fill out a form with a P at the beginning before you start earning - that'll sort it (dont know which one though) - phone up the taxman, they like to talk. anyway, its all academic. if you want more money you'll have to pay more tax but you'll still have more money in the end - which is good.
  22. bigger pedals or you could just move your feet a bit.
