  2. lots of lovely lovely bigness - well done wales one day someone will record wing actually riding
  3. those two are classics - expect to receive them from a friend or family member via email in about 2 months
  4. thats garbage - you're clever cos of all the potatos and guinness
  5. I second that in the dry they work goooood - without a grind.
  6. I always wanted one of them but I had a blue&yellow raleigh burner instead anyone else remember rough riders? little cars with knobbly tyres that ran off a single AA battery. I had an A-team van
  7. There's no competition - enos are far superior to any other freewheel you can get at the moment Both in terms of feel (72 eps and they don't flex) and in terms of how easy they are to service (sealed bearings). If you've already got a profile there's not much point in switching over but if you're trying to decide which to get then go eno cos it costs half as much
  8. YOU'VE WORN LEGGINGS AND FELT COOL. YOU HAD A WEIRD ALIEN THAT LIVED IN GOOEY STUFF IN A PLASTIC 'POD' AND THOUGHT IF YOU STUCK 2 BACK TO BACK THEY WOULD HAVE A BABY! YOU USED TO WEAR THOSE STICK ON EARRINGS, NOT ONLY ON YOUR EARS BUT AT THE CORNERS OF YOUR EYES. er - where the hell did you grow up ?

    Broadband

www.nildram.net they do pay as you go 2mbit broadband package for £16 a month. its got a 2.5gb limit and then you pay £2 for each 2gb over that. I like em a lot. There are no restrictions at all - you can have as many computers as you like plugged in (not like AOL).
  10. fooking sweet. I rarely enjoy looking at rocks but when the riding is that good the rocks seem less important I know its a bit less tech and all that but I'd love to see this guy ride some street. makes me want a monty. perhaps i'll just buy one instead of pining away the sponsors are clearly getting value for money
  11. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ry=42328&fkxs=1 white industries DOS freewheels ? they aren't cheap but they do 2 speeds on the back. Run with a tensioner and it'd probably work on a stock dunno where to get them over here, sideways cycles do a lot of WI stuff so it may be worth asking them
  12. Mine rides nice and I love it to bits. It is basically a levelboss ( 03 - 04 ish i'm guessing , before they got the CNC BB yoke) with a couple of little tweaks. There's lots of broken ones cos there's thousands out there. You'll probably find most of the ones that snap in half have had about 3 owners. There's a half price crash replacement warranty on them just in case - which is quite nice. The only things really wrong with the standard bike are the forks (super heavy) and acs freewheel (most people manage with them). Oh - and the bloody stickers - nothing you cant fix with some nitromorse though. I'd definitely recommend one
  13. i hate that, why cant they buy their own fecking newspaper ?
  14. theres nothing wrong with hogs is there ? they at least have eyelets
  15. europeans are entirely incapable of doing drunk and undignified properly. you lot need to learn to vomit in public.
  16. http://www.biketrialsur.com the geraldo garcia ones from last year fooking rule. have a look through the vids section in members- theres a couple of braunschweig vids that ought to make you feel a bit sick too
  17. innertube + gaffer tape
  18. sort of - but too slow and you dont get enough forward momentum. Im not saying ride at it full tilt - but approach like you really mean it - u know, hard enough to hurt.
  19. semen gets shiny when it gets hot though - its like using mr sheen unless you constantly top it up with fresh stuff. like someone else said - clean everything, then see how it works. I don't hold with grinding rims but theres no doubt it stops you. Even if you don't, a set of plaz pads works great on a smooth rim - as long as it's clean and dry (especially dry) . If you're proper lazy just use tar. It works and it saves you actually maintaining your brake, which is dull
  20. the first thing to try on chrome rims is cleaning them with window cleaner - windolene or something. Do that and clean your pads up & you should be ok. your cable line is very important on u-brakes - it needs to be as straight as possible - which is quite hard if you're running brakes on the chainstay. I used to hang the splitter part way in front of my seattube - about halfway along the front triangle - and use a very long loop of cable - which helped quite a lot. If you run a gyro you should just run cables straight out of the bottom part into the brake - rather than buggering around with a splitter . your best best is to check the g-sport website as he has some excellent techy tips on bmx setup & a whole bunch of cunning brake ideas
  21. if you're stuck at 2 ft you need to tuck more. your body gets you the height - not the bike, you pull the bike up afterwards. the restof it is about getting your distances right whether you pedal up, bunnyhop or tap you just have to go faster, pull up later and tuck like a bitch.
  22. yep - and all decent front freewheel cranks are ISIS bastards
  23. woo! - i got posted . sponsor me now (its higher than it looks)!
  24. Im pretty sure you could do do something with plastics - if you started looking at racing car or airplane materials you'd probably find all sorts of mad stuff thats super strong, weighs nothing and is recyclable. carbon frames are probably a good place to start stealing ideas - they don't injection mold them but I've seen a load that are 1 piece
