Amen... I just stuff my trousers into my shoes - seems to work ok. There doesn't seem to be a way of stopping my left trouser leg getting jammed under my rear booster when I roll off kerbs though.

I'm in if you need help I've done games on quake and unreal engines before & im a ninja Max user (its my job). I can code a bit too if pushed . Anyway - pm me if you like. I can certainly do modelling & texturing & I know all about doing it in realtime.

sorry - not trying to steal your thunder. im partly responsible for the recipes threads last week is all.
-
i'd phone ahead - theres always a chance you'll get pulled on the way down there. If that happens you'll be making some new friends in the shower room pretty sharply.... or, you could make a really dangerous newtons cradle ...

my god, what have we started? can we get a sticky recipes thread in chit-chat please mods?
-
as long as it's in ok condition that sounds good. you probably wont break a frame when you're just starting but you will tend to damage the smaller components like brakes - just make sure you can get replacements that fit. i reckon youll be ok with that one though cos it wasnt a low-end bike to start with so you'll have 19" rear wheel and maguras

dammit - i was hoping to get back and edit the original post before anyone laughed at me.... i took the blue rubbery ring out and flushed it with gt85 a couple of times. now it spins better and sounds like a chainsaw again. thanks for not insulting me though

ive seen army motorbike display teams n that sort of thing so i dont see why not. they might even paint your bike in camo and put military looking numbers on it if you ask really nicely.

ok, im sat here in the garden thinking i should cleanse my eno. ive taken the lockring and the funny round springy washer thing off but nothing else seems to want to be removed. how the hell do i get to the pawls to degrease them ? im not gonna bother if i have to take the whole thing off the crank cos i dont have the tools here..

this doesnt sound too healthy - can you borrow a hard disk off someone else ? To be absolutely sure you dont lose any of the porn youve been collecting over the last few years I'd install windows on the borrowed disk , put your old disk in the other hole, start it up, copy the porn and stuff to the borrowed disk, take the borrowed disk out, put the old one back where it used to be and try the new MSR (sure it didnt say MBR?) thing . if it doesnt work you can format the old disk and start again without losing your porn. youll be there for a while.....

does it beep at startup ? apart from the 'im a healthy happy computer' beep its supposed to make beeps generally mean bad things but i wouldnt panic unless the machine starts turning itself off or refusing to turn on - its probably something to do with the wanky software/windows being gay as for the software - i'd say take it off and put it back again, see if that sorts it. whats the machine made of? mobo, cpu, memory disks etc . if it makes stupid noises at startup let me know what sort of beeps they are and what kind of bios you have - ill try to find out the codes

Now, i'm a 3d animator (amongst other vaguely related things) - i do realtime stuff mostly . I favour 3ds Max but i've got a good handle on MAYA too. Before that I did web and database development plus a little bit of (monkey level) C - I started with the proper server side stuff in about 96 on unix, did that for a few years and then learnt ASP. I got bored of web development because it became too easy. Back in the old days you really had to fight the browser.

hmm. why not? yay! glad its all sorted now. I do think burberry grips would've been sweet though

It doesnt really sound like much of an upgrade, more a sort of sideways move. The t-mag is only more expensive than a t-pro cos of the front disk and drilled rim (I know cos i got a t-pro with the front end off a t-mag and it cost the same as a t-mag) If you're not happy about the way the t-poo rides then consider something longer or shorter . If you want something shinier but like the way the t-poo rides then a levelboss or echo team are probably your best bet - i'm sure someone will correct me but i think their geometry is much the same as a t-poo. any non onza frame will mean you need a new headset & maybe a new BB but it's hardly a vast quantity of extra cash to shell out - especially compared to £280odd for a frame. If it were me I'd just get new forks, bars and stem . I think the echo bits are much the same shape as the standard t-poo ones. Oh, and buy an eno cos they're nice

I'm not having a go at you specifically but there's a new 'how do i <blank>?' topic on here about every 20 minutes ... 1. do a search before you post. Theres bound to be several topics on sidehopping in here. If you can't find anything on deadlifting (?) it's because you're the only person on here who calls it that (at a guess, you might mean static hops ? ). 2. go here - www.trashzen.com - look at tutorials - go practice. while i'm here though. .. Sidehops are a bitch if you're no good on your backwheel (like me). I find it a lot easier if i do a little pedalhop forwards and bounce straight out of that rather than fanny about trying to balance on the back.

that won't matter - it's not like they don't know where he lives is it ? . but yeah. All the best on this mate - getting the old bill involved is much a better idea than going round, kicking his head in and stealing it back.

No then.. Thats what I suspected - things never change. I always assume IE gets it right and everything else is just being awkward. Its probably still unfashionable to like IE but in terms of robust html rendering nothing even comes close. ( IMHO - based on time spent developing websites professionally between 1995 and 2004 - before anyone says nutscrape - oops, i mean mozilla - oops, i mean firefox ) anyway, i've got a better job now so i don't really give a toss anymore
-
so, can you actually rely on the standards to produce similar results across different browsers these days? forgive my ignorance - I haven't done this sort of thing for a living for quite a while now...
-
... only less interesting.. theres an Inktomi spider too. thats a search engine as well
-
I like the ones you get with the t-pro. They've got a half mushroom/ half knurled effect thing going on. - ask tarty or someone if they can order them in, I doubt they cost more'n about 4 quid.

get it working again open a command prompt type ipconfig /all press enter. lots of complicated looking numbers should appear. put the numbers that match (ip address, subnet mask, default gateway. You might as well do the DNS as well) into your wireless connections TCP/IP settings. right click on the connection > properties > pick Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) > click properties > put the numbers in the matching holes > click OK that'll save everything.

if it was me, i'd do it the other way round...

This is what happens if you use a bloody WYSIWIG html editor .... On first one, the path you've given the function is invalid - here it is in english http://www.streetfurnituretrials.com/images/adam back wheel perfect photo.JPG/5.jpg note the extra /5.jpg you've got on the end the image is actually here http://www.streetfurnituretrials.com/images/adam back wheel perfect photo.JPG Right, that was the easy bit. Basically your problem is that the page isn't structured right. You've got an unclosed <a> tag at the beginning of the first row of pictures, followed by an empty <span> , followed by a <span> that holds the first 2 thumbnails, followed by another unclosed <a>, followed by a <span> containing the next 3 thumbnails. You want all 5 images in the same <span> and you don't want unclosed <a> tags anywhere (which is most likely what's preventing the function from working) This continues as far down the page as I could be bothered to check. I checked a few images and they are actually there so it's just the code thats buggered. I suggest going through the page in notepad and removing the extra crap. Indenting your code is a bloody good idea too eg.. <A HREF="java script:popitup('/images/1.jpg')"> (the main problem is this line) <span style="text-decoration: none"> </span> <span style="text-decoration: none"> <a href="java script:popitup('blah.jpg')"> <IMG SRC="blah.jpg"> </a> <a href="java script:popitup('blah.jpg)"> <IMG SRC="blah.jpg"> </a> you get me ?

What Is The Worst Thing Your Bike Has Ever Done To You?
poopipe replied to LukeDraisey! :)'s topic in Beginners Trials Chat
missed the pedals after a 5-6 ft high no footer on my bmx years ago. oddly enough, i'm still a little shy of taking my feet off. oh, and i stabbed myself in the heel with my superlength (3/4 inch) pedal pins on sunday. My shoe's red inside now -
are there any not hot alternatives ? i thought maybe alcohol or detergents ..
