  1. Did you actually read the original post or just the odd few words?
  2. Assuming you're running normal M5 bolts on the Magura mount, throw a chain spacer under each mount (the ones from between the plates). Should give you about the height you need, though wider washers would be a little more ideal to avoid them digging in - maybe throw a washer below/on top of each too
  3. I personally wouldn't pay that much for that little, but can see both sides of the argument. When you've paid £2k for a top end bike, an extra tenner here and there is pretty negligible I guess. If you want something cheap but light, there are always drills and files. If you don't mind spending the little bit more to get the kit, so be it.
  4. Quick request: Could those of you who have spoken to me about lifts please let me know you're still interested, so I still have enough time to ensure I've got enough people in the car to make it viable. If not, minibus sounds sweet! Edit; Alex Dark just confirmed with me and his zoot will go in the back of my car so currently no bike rack needed. Charlie, you still game yeah? Will you be bringing a bicycle or just papping? Lack of bike rack seems rather appealing to me
  5. I have a room I'm needing to fill next year. 2 bed flat, 15 minutes walk in, near enough to walk comfortably though if it's raining it's a little bit gay, so I sometimes act a cunt and drive the mile or so in during winter Google Maps Cheap rent, landlord's a nice enough guy, very relaxed etc. Bills are on top, but haven't been costing much really so it's all good in the proverbial hood. If that might be of any use/interest to you, let me know and I'll fill you in on more deets
  6. I remember seeing that black stock a fair while back and (other than looking like it has a shovel handle for a headtube) really liking it. Glad to hear he's still knocking frames out
  7. Caustic soda is the 'proper' way to go, but lots of people seem to have had decent results with Mr. Muscle Oven Cleaner. Spray on, leave a bit, remove. May be worth looking into
  8. A little confused why you've made a deal of saying "no mech" yet you're running snail cams, but the bike looks pretty good. Impressed by the longevity of the forks!
  9. Dude, I don't have to work until 1.30 on Sunday, it's fine! Seriously, you are MORE than welcome to stay here, especially if the other option is not to come down at all!
  10. I wasn't too keen on the mixing into/out of La Roux, but other than that it's sweeeeeeet so far! Loving the Sepalot track
  11. I think the word you were looking for is "idealist"
  12. Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  13. Indeed, depending on how lazy I feel I might show my face
  14. I'm working all day Saturday, hopefully not Sunday but won't find out for another day or two. I'll hook you up though, don't worry
  15. Better decide quick, there's only one week left of July... *cough*MANIFESTO*cough*
  16. Who added my name?! It's likely I'll be working, but we shall see. I guess if not I may drag myself along to another sweet Copthorne session.
  17. That was my next plan, but it seems I've been pipped to the post. Next time
