  1. the easier way is to take it to your local Spray shop. Ive had a few frames powder coated at £10 each. This is alot tougher than spraying it, so will last longer
  2. mind you its one less dick up craig lee scotts arse.
  3. I dont go to Uni so I dont have a fancy pants statement. But I do have a job, and when I fill CVs in I allways stick Mountian biking and biketrials under hobbies. And when they ask what it is, I explain. Let them think what they want about what sports you do, it wont change how you are as a worker and discourage your employ. My current Manager asked me to demonstrate this "trials" to him in the car park once. I rode up the back of an Astra and went through the rear screen. Still got a job there years later aswell.
  4. I used to maintain mine. Full strip serive every month, allways kept it clean and well adjusted. Replaced the chain, cassette ad chainriung every 6 month like clockwork. Now I dont bother, just keep riding it until it stops moving, fix it a bit and keep riding. As long as it works Ill ride it
  5. it is, its really hard. How do you get all those numbers to make sense in a line??? As for insurence, My contract Phone, I pay the insurence monthly, about £7, and this was all sorted when I took the contract out at the shop. No phone calls or anything. I think what happens is that O2 might let your detaisl out to some compaines so they can try sell you stuff you dont need, so you have just bought extra insurence you didnt need from a random company wo sells via data gathering. Scarry really how easily your details are bought and sold between companies. Even something as trivial as throwing out an old hard drvie could give some little arab child your detials for them to scam. TRUST NO ONE (excpet the Pink elephant)
  6. 90% of Classic Car insurers only want over 21s. You also need to have anotehr car you use everyday on its own policy, you have limited milage, car has to be garged and you need to get it valued. The insurence is cheap though. It was alot cheaper to insure my Capri with a long list of Mods and upgrades that it was to insure my Escort thats a 1.6 and standard.
  7. It should be illegal to even talk about Christmas Before December 1st. Its only october, its not even winter yet.
  8. correct, why bother sugar coating it for people who dont want to see the truth. Trials is an abuse to bikes, it will cause damage. Whats the point in stopping to hide that fact? Fair enough if your new to the sport and a alittle sceptical of trying because your not experinced enough, but why start a sport your scared of on the most expencive bike you can buy? it wont make you better, and sure as hell wont win you any friends. Buy a shit bike, learn and destroy, upgrade as you do. Simple plan
  9. whats the point of repairing chips/dents in a bike that is used in the fashion we use them? Part of getting it right, is getting it wrong. And those who are too bothered about the apperance of their bike over how they ride it are never going to get it right. If you slip and dent/scratch your bike whats the point of getting all stressy and crying, shut up, get back on and go again. Im fed up of going to rides and seeing super expencive, super tidy trials bike sitting about doing nothing with mummies little marmite soldier, who didnt pay for it, not wanting to try anything incase they scratch it. Stop being such a little bitch, get your cock out of Craig lee Scotts/Neil Tunniclifs ect arses and damn well ride.
  10. Lads Please, NEVER use the "A" Word. We prefer the terms: Bar Stool Jockey Men with very Dry Throats Contemperous Consumers Of Refreshing Beverages But Never that word
  11. The Weather Unfortuantly its not worth me driving for 4 hours to get there and ride in the rain.
  12. You Buy them from Wholesalers. IE, Cash And Carry, Bookers ect. But you can only enter these "shops" if you have a card, and to get a card you have to own a small business, or work for one and have express permission from the owner. I have a card for Bookers in worthing, and its like a gold mine in there. Not only the alchohol, but 1kg sacks of Gummi bears for £3.50, and all the sweets you could ever have seen on your life, in Tubbed form. All Manners of food and drink in Industrial sizes. You can Buy Slabs of cheese, they are about 4kg each, and approx 20"x15". I want to build a cheese house. They also to tabcco realted producs, cakes, ice creams, burgers, you name it. Bookers were doing a deal, Kettle, toaster, Sandwhich maker, £10
  13. Well Its either put up with the extra hours/work or be homelss. Tough choise. I am a mechanic, but it doesnt pay all the bills. Paying for tools is expencive Im no good at computer.photoshop stuff, so dont think I would be any good for that comic one, but ill keep it in mind.
  14. how can you call that Emo? That is ninja at its best
  15. Go As A Ninja, But make it yourself. That Batman one is weak. Base the Costume on this: Ninja - 3 along, 6 down. Or google search Hatake Kakashi
  16. Apart from the Obvious, Pubs Clubs ect, where can i get an evening job??? I cant start until 7 though (dont finish work until 6) so I cant work at Lloyds TSB. Are there any places I have over looked, where do some of you work in the evnings?
  17. Race Face BBs used to suffer from the bearing colapsing alot. Unless they have chenged them For Square taper I would hightly recamend a Shimano UN52 Cheap, and strong. Mine had lasted about 4 years and is still fine. I have only gone to ISIS due the the new frame (GU, came with an extra long ISIS BB the clear the brakes)
  18. A few of us are riding Brighton, so if your in the area, or just want to, come along Meeting at Hove Station at 11am. Yes
  19. Worthing has a massive slection of items to ride. And yes, there are loads of rocks, very good rocks. Also lots of street, and a skate park, if you like that sort of thing. I wont be out until later on, got work until 1pm. There will be locals out though
  20. My ears are now 16mm. Which is nice Got given some "16mm" plugs, spent a while trying to get them in, turned out they were 18mm, and damn it hurts trying to go from 14 to 18........
  21. The whole procidue of scalping isnt as bad as it soinds. All they do is measure, clamp your ear then cut a slit into to the ear with a scalpel. (no anistetic or anything like that either, just done as is) The pain isnt too bad, just imagine gettting a really deep scratch from a rose bush, thats what it felt like. The 2nd ear was a little stranger, as he stoped then started again, and you could feel the scapel going through the flesh. After that they stick in a nice cold streching pin (which feels soo nice after the burning feeling of the cut) they stick the wanted jewelry in. Had to clean it with hot salt water and saleen salution twice a day for the 1st 2 weeks, then just hot salt water for the next 2. Then when it had healed enough to take it out, give it a good claen. I left mine for about 2 months before streching up. Im allready tempted to go up to 16mm, just need to find some nice plugs
  22. We shall be going in the middle of January, not 100% oin the dates. My firends Fionce is organising it as a suprise for him. I dont know what company it is with either. I know it seems a bit stupid to leave all this in the dark, but I trust her, and when I go to pay it off next month im sure ill get all the specifics then. Not to fussed about wasting a few days learning, got to start somewhere, and its not like im gunna be too scared to just huck myself into things
  23. I have never been snowboarding before either. In Januray a few of us are going to Andora for a week. £460 its costing. That includes, flights, accomodations, breakfast, dinner, Lift pass, board and boot hire, 2 hours instruction a day. I dont think thats too bad for 6 days. Well looking forward to it
  24. I had My Ears Scalped to 10mm Then when that had healed I streched it up, and am currently on 14mm. I cant go much more as I didnt have ear lobes to start with, so I dont have much there to strech. I paid £60 to have both ears Scalped to 10mm, that included jewelry. The after care is very important, otherwise you may reject it. (PS - zoojames - Good taste, Bleach)
  25. I have the original, and Special Forces. Havent bothered with any of the others, still play from time to time Will be playing alot more due to being skint, and bike broke. Hook me up for a game sometime if you like.
