Cheers for the comments guys, this is all really useful stuff keep it coming. Im not by any bit trying to make excuses but this whole video has been planned and filmed and edited in less than a week, I got the brief for it last Tuesday (2nd Feb) so thats why some of it isnt perfect. The bit in my room, the blue room was meant to be shots of them while recording but some of the guys at the studio were ill on the day we needed to film that so unfortunately we had to do it at my house just to get it done. The acting was fair enough average, as they were a few of my mates willing to step in on free evenings When im doing proper videos for bands in the future I hope to be able to organise some professional actors, again that was a time based problem! hehe Lighting, yeah, fair enough some of it was pretty dark like in the bedroom where he gets angry - i'll look into some professional lighting with future paychecks (yeh, I noticed you can see a shadow of the camera when they are making out )The bit on the roof top was a complete fluke of an idea using car headlights rather than proper lighting pods! Glad you liked it Timing in the first bit, admittedly im a drummer - so most of the drum bits are in time, apart from one of the rolls - I dont know about the guitar too much, I was just told by their guitarist that it all looked in pretty good time, i'll look into learning the instrument a bit to get more of a grasp on picking and strumming - I imagine that would help me a lot in the future. It can be a collection of stories gathered over the years written into an epic. This epic, while still having great values and guides today, is however a selection of good stories. You have absolutely no proof of god existing, you said "I've gone to the Bible for help, it (or should I say, GOD)" - can that just mean that your God is the bible. Thats fair enough living your life by the book - but that can be all it is in my eyes at least, a great basis to live life by - not a belief in a higher power. Tell me that you have had a direct message from God, not a story from a bible, or a decision the bible helped you take going well - but some proof he is out there. Hey guys, for my foundation film course im taking at farnham at the moment, ive just made a music video to help promote a local band, and satisy the needs of the project which is about using multiple medias in one video piece - in this I use text, a song and a story played out by video. Haha, that mega pack is sabian solars, steer clear, they are complete shit. Im using a set of Sabian AAX cymbals - stage hats, 16" crash and 20" ride, with a Signature crash 18" SATURATION. Boodiful setup, ive also got a few Sabian Pro splashes too. For £200 your best bet is to get a Sabian XS20 pack - they are pretty good for the cash although if you want the best youll have to pay for it.
