  1. The cap may or may not work, I'm not 100% certain, you may be better off getting a new one reservoir cap give Tarty a ring tomorrow or drop them an email and find out.
  2. It will work but there's no point getting the old type, when you can get this one and use all the bits from your existing lever, all be it with the reservoir cap upside down and save yourself 30quid.
  3. Its the correct lever for a Hope mono trial disc brake.
  4. Yeah it sadly is, Myself, Pete Haydon (Tic), Nick (prawn), Rich Pearson, Luke Walder (Mowgli) and a few other non TF people went back to Nick's that evening to have a few quiet drinks and Mr Wright invited himself along.
  5. No surprisingly not, saturday when i had a good ride i was a little, but sunday i had no excuses apart from aching like hell from saturdays ride.
  6. The day you lost any hope of redeeming yourself in my eyes Pete was when you turned up to Oli's funeral, chatted a load of crap to his poor mum about being there and being his best friend and then having the cheek to invite yourself back after to Nick's house with Oli's real friends and puke all over his sofa. Pete i believe your acceptance on this planet is dubious but you sure as hell don't have a hope on this forum, please stop wasting yours and our time.
  7. My dear god, this is actually going to be put up for sale?! Scary stuff.
  8. Shame you didn't have your camera out the previous day when i was actually riding well! Some nice pics though mate, roll on the next ride
  9. Clear lacquer or hair spray has always worked for me. Tar should be banned from trials bikes.
  10. So there's still no way of perma-banning someone via there IP address?
  11. Damn good, enjoyed that a lot.
  12. The parallel push arms on the XTR brakes have a habit of flexing and making them feel spongy and in the worse case snapping. With the noodle, its nothing to do with the noodle itself, but which side it routes from, but as said this wont make any real difference.

    Neon 2010!

Sweeet, looks like they've thought it through then

    Neon 2010!

Gotta say i think they look really nice, red and black one gets my vote, although if i did get one i'd most likely spray the downtube black to cover the graphics.... although someone please make me feel a lil sane and say its not just me that the BB yoke area looks a little suspect?
  15. Hammering a slightly oversize torx bit in works 99% of the time for me, the shape of it lets the bit bite into the bolt head and stops it from ripping out so easily.
  16. Myself and Joe Seddon use Salomon Cross Speed 2 xc running shoes, cut the nobbles down where your pedal sits and they're spot on. Plenty of support, nicely cushioned soles, good levels of grip and the added bonus of actually being able to walk in muddy, wet horrible ground without falling over. The don't use laces, just a nylon draw string to tighten and the're semi-waterproof with the upper drying out very quickly. Not cheap, but then riding shoes aren't, oh and they're very light.
  17. What other benefits were you expecting? It's not complicated really, ovalise a 6mm hole at either end of the top tube, undo the hose at the lever (don't wave it around or knock it, or you'll lose fluid) feed it through the top tube and do it back up at the lever. You'll need a new olive so allow you to remove the shroud nut but thats it. Job done.
  18. Don't say you're turning your bike red??! Sicko.
  19. Sounds good, but then could look like a complete shed and as such the topic is pointless, why not wait until you have pictures to upload and make a complete topic allowing people to make a informed opinion of your bike and not make digs at you.
  20. Ben Johnson from Weston is over 6 feet tall and he rides a long mod, he finds it fine But then i'm only about 5'8ish and i ride a long stock and i find it fine, it's all about the set up.
  21. Love the look of the Red Sky, interesting to see Koxx producing a dual disc comp 26" bike now, how is the rear wheel flex on it? Do they have any sponsored riders running dual disc 26"?
  22. I've used linear slic cables on all the cable brakes i've had and they certainly feel nicer than non-linear cables. Either that or the Shimano SP51 outer, think thats what Ali C uses, correct me if i'm wrong!
  23. It's the way the steel wire braiding that makes up the outer is arranged, either linearly, so it runs along the length of the cable and provides less resistance and is prone to less crimping and pinching the inner or standard.
  24. Maybe this is where i'm going wrong and is the reason i suck at them...
  25. I very much doubt he's being sarcastic at all, didn't you know that sidehops are the way forwards.....
