  1. Top tube issues with the Limeys have been sorted, unlike the folding downtubes on the Rockmans; not denying the one i've ridden ride well just prefer my Limey.
  2. Aye not too shabby Mr Pearson, got used to the frame pretty swiftly like Looking forward to the ride next weekend
  3. Can't you put a cam on the outside ofthe drop out Charlie? Bike looks really pimp, uber short and lots of fun i imagine
  4. Get used to the wider ones? surely its worth trying them for a few weeks to see if you like them wider as they aren't the widest bars.
  5. But is that because you are seeing this as a direct replacement for the original zoot, as in a seatless compy style 24"? Because I don't think, I may be wrong, that it is intended as such. I think that's what the Limey24, if it does come out is supposed to be.
  6. Yes, i very much doubt you are, its just a bit different to the others, granted the geometry is very similar to what's settled already as street 24 geo, so nothing revolutionary there, but its got a integrated pivotal post, horizontal drop outs, vee mounts on the frame and on the forks and it will be a great price. Personally i don't think you can say its offensive looking either!

    Films!?

Few films i've watched the last week whilst ill off work: Natural born killers Fear and loathing in las vegas Chopper Taken Taxi Driver In Bruges All bloody awesome in their own little ways, watch them!
  8. My Viz! square hole rim does seem pretty flexy, only had it a month or so and its holding up nicely... can i ask how long yours lasted @ Canardweb?
  9. Forms are all filled in a ready to post off on Monday should be interesting, be awesome if someone does take over the running of the club, seeing as Terry has put so much into the trials community be a shame to see it disappear.
  10. Really enjoyed that, some good varied riding of your normal high standard. I liked the tunes, Florence and Interpol
  11. Seriously that Zoot is amazing i'll be giving you a call when they come in Joe, when you say its going to be white and purple as a frameset..... any pics of that? Onza have pulled there finger out and come out the other side looking rosey, some impressive stuff
  12. Pretty sure the ERD is different... could just have rang tarty and asked... sure Ali or someone in their infinite wisdom would be able to tell you.
  13. That blade looks awesome, graphics and colour schemes are looking sweet. Saw the new stock that Drei is riding today... looks bloody lovely, he seemed to get on with it pretty damn well
  14. Great isn't it i guess its an intolerable dislike to the guy and seeing him trying to get back into the social scene he has been ejected from so many times for so many things kinda gets a little frustrating. Oh well.
  15. I've used both and found the DX32 was a slightly stronger rim and didn't dent as easily where as the ronnie had a bigger braking surface and produced the most awesome grinds.
  16. Aye looks pretty damn smart definitely needs a shorter stem, don't know how a 75mm stem with 24* rise will feel though... i've just gone from a 80 x 8* to a 100 x 10* and it feels nicer all round, still just as flicky and and easy to bunny hop/manual but nicer on the rear wheel and for trialsy stuff
  17. No Rowan, i was thinking exactly the same thing when i watched it yesterday! Was wondering how long it would take someone to mention it good man, on another note from that pic.... muffin top anyone?
  18. I imagine what Andy was trying to get across (correct me if i'm wrong) is that it looks like a font cover from MBUK but from 10-12 years ago, this is supposed to be the biggest trials competition in the country trying to attract both the tops riders and the general public's interest. The post is everyone's first point of interaction with the event and as such should look professional, exciting and informative. Dave's amendment doesn't really help the cause, unless it was meant in jest, which we all know is hard to put across on an internet forum. The event format and locations look awesome, really hope it works out and opens trials competition to a wider audience.
  19. Some sweet lines and some sizeable moves in there, liked that
  20. Why?! Apart from the Viz! light and echo sl forks theyre pretty much the lightest out. Tyres, Rims, Frame. Most cost effective places and places you'll make the biggest impact weight saving wise.
  21. Yeah you had one of the original batches didn't you? Did it have hose routing holes in the top tube? The first batch had thinner wall thickness for the top tube and the hose routing, they used to crack on the hose routing holes and on the top tube near the seat tube area. The latest batch don't have the hose routing holes and have a thicker top tube.
  22. The latest batch of Limey 3's are awesome, I love riding mine feels damn comfortable and I'm only 5'8", solid stiff frames with an extremely dent resistant downtube. Can't comment on the Ozonys as I've never ridden one, but from experience with a Limey 3 I'd say go for it.
  23. I think that's what I don't like about my current set up, I've got some 50mm rise Truvativ Holzfeller bars and they feel flat compared to the Monty bars I have on my stock. Think I'll be getting a set next month after pay day
  24. With you on the red/black colourway with a set of Trialtech forks and that would look pretty damn nice.
