  1. A wide BB is more needed when running Burns and a wide rear rim, is to allow them to clear the slaves on a maggy. I still run burns on my stock and my 24" but i'm liking the idea of a FFW set up, the weight is more central and it's cheaper.
  2. MMMmmmmm steel and DD gives it a very clean tidy look, like it.
  3. The hub cracking is more of an inconvenience, give hope a ring and then send it back to them and they'll sort out a new shell for you; they're usually bloody good like that
  4. There should be a void under the gusset as Ali has said, well that's how it was explained to me. Frame looks neat, welds looks as good and in some cases better than some off the shelf frames, very very light too.
  5. I've got a 2.4 Schwable Fat Albert I'm going to try, it's folding and only 680grams or something silly light. should be ok
  6. Riding was good, loved the gap to front on the rails and the line up to the bus stop. The editing on the other hand led a lot to be desired.
  7. Not unless you've got a frame you put the cams on the outside of the dropouts, you'd need to drill them out obviously and you might want longer bolts to support the axle fully.
  8. Slack head angle and short reach, aimed at the shorter rider? Seems a slightly out of trend set up, but if it works
  9. Result, rear rim ordered... finally! Doh! Front rims now out of stock, sod's bloody law! Regards to the Echo pedals, do they offer replacement axes?
  10. Thats where you need the nice shiny carbon version
  11. The Salsa and Shimano one's come up every now and again on ebay, and you see the odd on in the for sale section too. Apart from that i think the echo one is the only new option about.
  12. New rim and spokes ordered, might have to get this Onza running again at the weekend...
  13. Really really nicely put together, enjoyed that. Music was really good too I'd love it if they could build a little public trials park like that in cities in this country
  14. Bar and stem combo are spot on, i'd just play around and swap a few to on top the stem and see what feels best

Fair shouts to Vettel for winning, but he just comes across as another Schumacer...discernibly German. He comes across as the spoilt only child and that's how red Bull are treating him; maybe it's the way to build a champion. Just wish Webber could have won.
  16. Both look really good, nice spec on the Limey, although i'd lose the spacers under the stem.
  17. Find mine really really good, as has been said it's really important you set the calliper up so that pads hit square and evenly on the disc, seems to affect lever feel as well as the performance of the brake; spend a bit of time with the hope shims and get your mounts faced.
  18. I would hardly say 1090 with a +50 bb is anywhere near short and low compared to anything compy.... It's pretty much bang on comp geo.
  19. I think that's the thing, 20" and 26" trials is established in both street and competition trials whereas 24" isn't; I know this is primarily due to the lack of availability but as there has been no clear adoption/inclusion of the wheel size for UCI or BIU rules it's a chunk of your potential market gone simply for that reason. It's a big jump to make for a company and I don't think that the jump will be made until the competition rules side of things is clarified. I've got to agree with Mark too, the majority of street riders don't tend to splash out big money on new frames, from what Joe has told me I would gather that the majority of their frame sales comes from the competition side of the market. The other issue i'm finding is that there isn't a massive availability of decent parts for the 24" TGS scene. I have £50 Schwalbe tyre waiting for the Echo TR rear rims to come back in stock so I can at least build up a decent wheel to compliment the light frame. Brand New In Box Mark. I would say both innovative and new.
  20. The Onza frame has a disc mount, unfortunately its in the ISO position which isn't ideal, the chainstays were a little long and the BB a little low; apart from this it rides really nicely. I'm not really sure what Joe is intending on doing with it at the moment, I think Joe Seddon told him it wasn't really viable at the time due to the competition side of things.
  21. Really really sweet, enjoyed that a lot!
  22. Looks pretty impressive, after going for a ride yesterday, think a downtube guard is in order!
  23. Awesome stuff, can't believe that vid is 9 years old!
  24. Evidently some jigs are better than others, because some frames are so far off its nuts!
