  1. Very soon, would be even sooner if Tarty hadn't sold out of rear rims...
  2. i dunno mate, it looks exactly the same as the 26" which the only gripe with that was the decals/paintjob. Which is easily sorted.
  3. And a hell of a lot narrower, depends what sort of riding you do. I went from a drilled DX32 to a Rockman (try-all) hole rim and the stability difference when riding natural was huge. Can't beat a DX32 for holding a grind:)
  4. I'll get some pics up pretty soon.
  5. Tom you're either a complete basher or you or who ever builds your wheels can't build them for shit. Plenty of big riders use single wall rims with out any issues.
  6. They're available through Fisher cycles, get your LBS to order you one in: ]Tyre not cheap mind....
  7. What type of 24" tyre are you after? A street or a nobbly one that will work on natural aswell? I've just ordered a Schwalbe Fat Albert 24" x 2.4, 690 grams for my TGS 24", used a combination of Moto Rt and Moto diggers tyres, front and rear respectively.
  8. What you mean bending it?...... Composite generally are bonded to other materials of a different type, I wouldn't worry about it if it's all done correctly. It's how they did the Koxx Karbon.
  9. Take off the cranks and take the bb out fo the frame, clean all the threads and grease them up, torque it up in the frame. If it's ISIS, clean and grease the splines on the bb and cranks and then tighten to the correct torque. If it's square taper then clean the tapers on the bb and cranks, DON'T grease them and tighten them to the correct torque.
  10. Awesome stuff mate! Looks like you're enjoying the new bike.
  11. Looks awesome now it's coming together can i ask why you chose to try a carbon top tube, was it just because you could?
  12. Riding was good, edit was brilliant, nice to see someone do something different .
  13. Night time shots, don't film facing the light, if you face with your back to the light you'll get a much better recording. With gaps he seems to take off/start a long way from the edge, try to make a concious effort to gap from the edge apart from that was good, keep up with it!
  14. It clearly says it will work with 8 speed set-ups, no more and no less. If this is for a trials bike with gears it'll be fine but you're better off getting a proper MTB chain with shifting ramps and guides if it's for an MTB.
  15. That looks awesome! nice to see you trying something different! Be interesting to see how long it holds up
  16. I thought the same Don't mono trials use aluminium pistons? That would explain why they would be no good for general use.
  17. Got an issue which is starting to annoy the hell out of me. It's as if my PC has a stutter when playing audio, playing games or watching films. Spec if Windows 7 64 bit, 4gb ddr2, 512 nvidia 9800gtx and a soundblaster audigy soundcard. All the drivers are up to date, all on board features have been disabled which should be. It's driving me up the wall because it's intermittent, more often than not it's playing up though Maybe unrelated, I also get an audio issue, where the sound distorts really badly, did this with the onboard sound card too, speakers work perfectly when plugged into a MP3 player though... any help or suggestions would be great.
  18. That was awesome, rear wheel control was a bit mind boggling. Flowing, technical, controlled lines Who said riding a mod could be cool....
  19. Nicely done mate good to see you out riding and making vids again have to ride soon.
  20. Ben you should have said this was the issue, both my BB tools don't clear the green axle spacers; carefully prise them off with a knife or a flat bladed screw driver. Obviously clean everything up to make this as easy as possible.
  21. Nah that's cool, just I saw the mig torch in the background and thought "he wouldn't be doing that!" What steel are you using?
  22. Looks different thats for sure, it's nice people trying their own thing out Wish I could! Are you mig or tig welding it?
