I gave a Makita cordless drill as a present once and I got it back the very next Christmas, minus the power pack... On a not particularly useful note my pro timber framed building maker uncle uses a combination of makita and tescos £8 jobbies, the idea being he can break several tescos ones for the price of a makita, just saves that for tasks requiring a good drill.

I've been wondering about this, I don't think it's really worth doing just frames, this may change in future. Significantly incomplete bikes are ok though, as are bikes made of a load of spare parts thrown together. When people say petrol model vehicles they generally mean nitro, as the engines don't actually run on petrol. Actual petrol engined vehicles are available, but they're generally much larger, and known as gas engines. I suggest you buy a magazine and read it cover to cover, or at least read some kind of guide.
